I'm a skater, I've been skateboarding for only about 6-7 months, and there is a skatepark right by my house. I don't know if anyone else does this, but after a lifechangeing accident at the age of 14, I finally understood the reasonfor cups. I went off a ramp that had another one at the side, I screwed up beyond belief and fell right on the pole. I ached for weeks. Whenever I skate street (going down sets of stairs and stuff) I just wear my helmet, but when I hit the park and go on the ramps I wear the cup. This is my public service announcement. I don't tell anyone though, I tink im violating some unspoken rule of skating.

i work construction so i have had some broken bones but nothing was worse then the time a brick fell right on my balls it hurt for about a whole month and when they stoped swelling the docter seid my left ball couldent umm.. "skeet" no more now if i want a baby i have to do it twice, now i were my cup to work and other activitys that invole bricks

related to the brick story, a friend of a friend was at soccer practice and ths kid on his team really hated him, so he came up to the friend of a friend while he was sitting down and took his spiked cletes and just totally stompped right on is nut sack, he had to go to the hospital and have his left ball removed and replaced by a fake one.
