I can't get my microphone working >:(

Hey guys,

I can't get my microphone working.

I have a Creative SB Extigy (External Sound Card) for my computer that I plug my microphone in. And whenever I try testing it, it doesn't work. I've had numerous arnold moments with Telemarketers and this godforsaken thing refuses to work.

Any help would be appreciated!!!!

youve tried plugging it into all the different holes?

how do you know it is not working?
