Making yourself anonymous on the phone

I am starting to get into pranking, but i know that my name and number show up on people's caller id's. Is there a way to make myself anonymous without contacting the phone company? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Press *67. That way it comes up as blocked or somethin like that. Either that or you could use a pay phone.

if plp don't have caller ID they can press *69 and it shows the last person who has called but it cost like abuch or somthing...wel i use *67 but i was wondering if it charges anything like *69 does..?

*67 is free for me, just depends on your service.

I think the calling cards are best, you could probably use *67 or whatever with it as well for twice the security.
