Wow I just got back from an amazing night… I feel like sleeping but ill fill you guys in. First off I was a little disappointed… for one I didn’t actually get a seat at the debate… it was more like a back stage pass… second of all I bought a new Kenneth Cole outfit just for the event! It set me back like 200 bucks anyhoo when I finally got to the theater i got like eight comments about how I looked… keep in mind I hide a sign under my dress shirt…thanks guys…
So anyways I got picked up by a Army friend who was going with me… we drove to the Rep. rally… OMFG traffic was so horrible it took us an hour to get there and park… but I knew the guy working the second check point so I got a great parking spot So I was late to the rally which was over crowded and loud but I got to see what I came for… I was tempted to pull the sign out there but I refrained due to the company… so then we stopped by the Starbucks like two blocks down Mill Ave. and got me and my company some drinks… then we got a cell phone call from Col. Lizardi (the person who got us the passes). She told us to meet her at some statue down there and we did.
I was so stressed out considering she was my battalion commander. She had two gentel men with her whos names I seem to have forgotten. So anyhoo after passing through another check point we entered the theater… we were still like half an hour early I think… ohh yeah the sign I brought started to bleed paint onto my skin… and I freaking started to smell like my old elementary school. So yeah I got to meet like a dozen or more head honcho brass (more officers…P.S. I hate brass) then I got some shit about my hair being too long…
So the big man himself enters… I could hear the chatter of the security all over (“psss... 2 minutes till show time…) there was so much security and media every where I got to see the stage through one of the side outlets… it was actually pretty chill there was free water and fruit back ohh did I mention I felt so out of place. So anyways realizing that I would never get to be on TV I excused myself and went to the bathroom were I proceeded to remove the sign from my waist… which really surprised me that no one singled me out and confiscated it! I went through like three check points and not one said a thing…but you have to remember that I was in fine company :thud: after removing the tribute to Ebaums I had to wash off all the paint… keep in mind this wasn’t just some bathroom… there was all these suits looking at me funny ohh well… so yeah… anyhoo the debate started and everything was so anal the producers where yelling at people to do this and that and by the time I knew it the debate was over… I never even got to shake W’s hand ohh well… but yeah I almost forgot I yelled in the middle… he was rebutting Kerry on healthcare or something and I saw my chance to shine so I shouted woo… :insane: so yeah that was my defining moment of the night… so yeah my commander grabbed my arm and glared deep into my eyes with a demonic stare… I felt so Stupid I wish I would of got slammed before all of this but no I had to go sober. So yeah where’s the Reps…lol I could car less. Anyways im going to post some pictures sometime…..lol ohh yeah the event after all that was off the hook there was so many students… I met some really cool girls that I knew in high school so at least I got something out of it… bush was having a great time… I hope he wins… ohh and from my point of view I think he won the overall debate. But that’s my opinion! Pm me for more.
