View Full Version : How Do You Burn DVD Videos To CD'S?

Hey,
At the moment im having real trouble burning non copywright movies to CD. I have the right CD's for it as i brought em today and they are the 1's i need but i need a good program to do it as real player wont accept avi movie files to burn and windows media is being a bitch!
Can Anyone Help???

To be honest it seems like a lot of hassle getting a DVD onto cd's. DVD re-writers aren't that expensive these days and you can copy pretty much any DVD with DVD X-Copy Platinum. If you are looking to get avi movies off your hard-drive onto DVD, use Cucusoft AVI to DVD Converter and Nero Vision Express 2 to burn it onto a blank DVD.

i figure if jesus can turn water to wine, feed thousands of ppl with a loaf of bread and a fish, and come back to life, then i think he might be able to help you burn some silly old dvd. i mean, he like invented the dvd right. or was that his daddy....????

I once followed a tutorial on burning with Nero, and after making the cd 1 out of 4 dvd players played the dvd!
I now use MyDVD! It is really simpled, and you can add menu's, sub menu's to your background image of choice!
I read that with .avi's you can only put 80m on a 80m cd, but mpeg's you can put longer movies if you lesson the quality!
dvd's burned with MyDVD has worked in every dvd player I tried it in!
