View Full Version : How to make a soundboard?

I'm interested in creating some soundboards, however, I have no idea what's involved in making one. I know you guys get pissed off easily with stupid threads, sorry if it was posted already but I couldn't find it. Also, do you just get your sounds from the interent, or is there a way to get them from tv/radio etc.

first you record the sounds some way. If you are ripping a movie, just play the dvd on your computer and record with sound recorder whenever there is a good, clear line said. Next, use Macromedia flash to create the soundboard. If you don't know how to use flash, here is a walkthrough

Ack, it seems a lot of the menu bars and things are different since when the instructions were written :banghead:

yea thats an old version of flash, but the principle is still the same. You could probably figure it out by playing around a little bit.

How long would you say it would take to make one if you knew nothing about flash?

I don't know if you want to waste your time. They are getting pretty old and played out.

Just download Flash 5 and use that then the instructions make sense

yea but it would still be interesting to make one, and infact i did. i made a method man sound board from how high
