Does ANYONE know a way of connecting a PC's audio output to feed directly into a voice line?? This would avoid the barbaric method of positioning a speakerphone's input next to one of your PC speakers.. I believe there must be a better method. Maybe a spearkerphone with a 1/8" audio input jack? if one exists... Or maybe one of the net-phones would be of use? Just wondering if anyone out there is using a better method then I.. or has any good ideas. It would be nice to record and play directly off of the pc without the use of extra devices.

I had recently bought a rather expensive speakerphone modem because of an idea i had. I bridged the audio output of my soundcard to the voice input of the modem, with the concept that whatever i would play on my computer would be transfered directly to the modem, and ultimately, the person on the other line. It was to no avail and im not quite sure why. Still willing to experiment though. Lata

I invested in a Tele Tool 2000 (cost me $45 or so) and it took me months to get it to work. It did not work as it was directed in the instructions sheet and I had to play around with it for awhile and had to buy a 3 dollar cable splitter to get it to work. The system is very good, once properly installed. It records calls crisply with no analog sound. I'd recommend you keep playing with your modem phone and try new things with it and it may work. There is a thread on how to record pranks, you should check that thread out also. Good luck and hope we can hear some of your calls soon.
