Anyone see this movie first time I saw it scared the shit out of me. I see the old beat up truck then the dead bodies hanging on the walls. Then the jeeper creeper guy cuts off the cops head and starts feasting on it like a watermelon. After watching the movie more then once it just kind of looks stupid and makes me laugh at some parts.

Jeepers creepers watch out for your peepers.

I was kinda surprised by that. It was the first monster movie in a LONG time, and it did fairly well. This generation of movie watchers have moved on to where it has to be a human kill or at least supernatural, and a monster hasnt been done in a long time.

The begining of that movie kicked ass! One of the best starts to a movie i had seen in a long time. The rest of the movie, it kind of dropped down a hill. Started off really good, very scary and creepy, but as it went on it got less and less believable, and in turn, less scary. I just really cant watch a movie where the villian is an unexplained monster and believe it. Thats probably why the begining was better, becasue you didnt know what it was. When you find outs its a creature that sleeps a lot and only comes out every 27 years to eat, it got kinda dumb. Especially with that whole idea where it eats legs to walk, tounge to talk, lungs to breathe and eyes to see kinda thing.

This movie was actually pretty scary at the start but as soon as the creeper grew wings and turn into some bug, it kinda wreaked it.

The ending in the police station just plain sucked in my opinion. The start, and up to where they meet that old woman with loads of cats is good though.

The sequal is just one of the worst films i've ever seen, appart from deathwatch, and cabin fever.

That film was awesome, probably the best horror movie ever.......... Or atleast the first 45 mins were but as soon as the monster got ran over and then got its wings out it went into an unbelievably shite film.... ET was more scary than that pile of wank.
If I seem bitter its bcoz I am, this film had so much potential, it realy could have been the Texas Chainsaw Massacre for the Playstation generation but no, they had to take what started off as a pant shittingly scary film and turned it into a ridiculous over the top bag of poo.

I totally agree with you and I've been telling my friends the same thing, but they don't understand. It started off REALLY good, but when we got to the point where the bad guy is some alien lookin' queer with wings....movie went downhill. I don't understand how you mix sci-fi with horror. Didn't turn out too well.
