You've redeemed yourself. I had the opportunity to drive a '95 LX V8 this summer for a couple weeks and it was a nice car. Lots of power, not drag race power but cruising power, big gears in it to just cruise along the highway.
Plus I did do a little drag racing, flick the O/D off and hammer it it'll move.
It ran the cops through town one night, they couldn't catch it with their Crown Vics:D

I think that the delorian sucks. I know they are cool and few, and the Back to the Future movies are cool, but after the movies used that car... it lost some of its appeal.

I drive an Avalanche and yes they are ugly but all the storage and the ability to change from an SUV to a pick-up comes in handy if you're a construction worker. Besides that plastic doesn't bend that easy if you hit something, and if it does, it normally goes right back to it's original shape.

For the worst car ever, I would have to say early 90's Nissan Pulsar. Everyone I knew that had one, it would always break down.

i totally agree if u take the od off the car revs too high and you run the chance of overheating or even worse transmission failure

if you let the car shift in to o/d while racing, you don't know how to race. you want to keep it in the powerband. that's why you take it out of o/d. you will lose time as it shifts into o/d as you go down the quarter mile. you don't want that while you're draggin.
