Computer nerds help me!

ok, i have cable internet right? and i have this crappy little white box they call an injector or something. and i bought a router so i could play xbox connect. but i have no flippin idea how to set it up. i called my internet company, and they said they couldn't walk me through it cuz i didn't buy it from them. assholes. anyway any help at all would be appreciated.

take 2 ethernet cables and connect one from the xbox to the router, and connect the router to the modem. If you need anymore help, tell me.

Anyway... sparkky, that white box is called a modem. Who the fuck told you it's called an "injector"?

yeah i had to do same thing buddy. It nearly took us like 3 months to get that little nigger to work. It was hard shit and after all it turned out the thing was faulty. But neways wuts ur model Linksys wireless? etc u can get help from the guys who made the router or a local computer store thats about all i can tell yeah.

Eh, it's not really that hard. Just plug in the router. Plug in the modem. Connect the modem to you router using an ethernet cable... then set up the router to share it's internet connection with the whole network.

Not sure how it works with xbox live though. Can you get wireless cards for the xbox? The router should have a few network ports on it anyway that you should be able to use to plug the xbox ethernet cable into.
