Does anyone officially now hate STEAM? Granted, it was an ingenious way to stop us from playing the game to early if we got an advance copy, but the fact that it needs to coonect everytime for you to play is ridiculous.

Um once you verify once you can do ofline mode from then on. But i will steam does suck.... if it wasn't for half life 2 i would quit cs and make anti-valve company.

Thats why I pre-ordered mine through steam. When it was released it only took a few minutes to update. The people who really have no life are those that camped out at stores for Halo2.
