How are your teams doing? Did they advance or get kicked out?
I'm rooting for Fenerbahce, but they will not be advancing. They have guaranteed a spot in the UEFA Cup. They will be playing Manchester United tomorrow, hopefully they will get revenge for the 6-2 defeat they suffered. It shall be a nice game.

Even though I prefer Olympiakos, who plays tomorrow, I root for all the Greek teams. Unfortunately, Panathinaikos was knocked out today by Arsenal winning, even though they beat PSV Eindhoven 4-1. Oh well, I still have one team to root for :D

Rosenberg had no chance at Arsenal. The game between Liverpool and Olympiakos will be a great game, everything is on the line. Must win for Liverpool, but if Olympiakos doesn't win as well, they have a chance of being leap frogged by Monaco. That group is very close, that group has the lowest scoring games, so many shutouts.
The Dynamo-Leverkusen game is the only other critical game. They are 1 and 2 in the standings, but Real Madrid will be playing against Roma, who haven't won a single game yet, and Madrid has a very good chance of defeating them and a win guarantees them leap frogging either Dynamo or Leverkusen. I will shocked of Roma defeat Real Madrid tomorrow, but I am hoping to be shocked.

I agree. Panathinaikos really undermined themselves by only managing a 2-2 draw with Rosenberg when they played them. I was holding out hope for a miracle, but of course that doesn't happen when Rosenberg then has to go play Arsenal.
Do you happen to know if any of those games will be on ESPN2, as sometimes they broadcast Champions League games?
EDIT: Bah! They have Roma-Real at 2:30 EST

I don't have cable, so I don't know. I just follow along from the net. I believe they have Champions League games on ESPN, but I don't know the schedule.
This site lets you type in your zip code and gives you a TV listing of all the soccer available. Left hand side...

I just did a search and it says there will be a Champions League game on ESPN2 at 2:30 Eastern, but the game is To Be Announced (TBA). This is for my zip code, so I'm now sure if they will show it where you live, most likely they will.

I would like to start by saying "woohoo" for the sports section.
I been an avid Man utd fan will be rooting for them. We are already through and will probably field a weak team against Fenerbahce, so you might have a chance.
I can see man utd going far, I expect Juventus, Real, Chelsea and Man utd to be the last four unless they happen to meet earlier.

HALLE FUCKIN LUJAH!!!!!!!!!! A sports page yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhaaaa!!!!
Goin to Anfield tonight for the Olympiakos game, gonna be well gutted if we dont beat the greek twats.
I dont know how far we will go in the competition but am hoping for the quater finals with a big draw in the next round against AC Milan or Madrid, that will be great being sat in the Kop watchin the mighty reds doin battle with the "Galacticos".
We are 33-1 to win the Champs league, dont think we will but it might be worth a flutter, I have 10 quid on AC Milan to win the Champs League, I am quite pleased with myself bcoz I went to the bookies before the start of the competition when Arsenal and Madrid were the favorites to win the Champs league and I managed to get odds of 10-1, yes 10-1 on Milan to win the tournament.

Fener won 3 - 0 against Manchester, so they got their revenge, but didn't advance. Here are the goals from the match (the first is very nice, didn't watch the other 2 yet)...

If you want links of the goals from the 6 - 2 game Manchester won, let me know and I'll link them up as well.

Well we did it!
That will go down as one of the great european nights at Anfield and in 20 years time when Liverpool fans are talkin about that game I can say I was there sat on the Kop (well stood actually, everyone stood for the whole game) It was awesome, Stevie G again showing that hes one of the best midfielders in world football.... Bring on AC Milan! I dont know how far we can go in the competition but am lookin forward to being at Anfield for a game against Milan, Madrid or even Chelski if we get through the next round.

well done to united they qualified but we are going to have some a hard team next either Monaco, Bayer Leverkusen, Juventus, AC Milan or Inter Milan. I want Man Utd to play Monaco or Leverkusen not none of the italian teams.
