Pitssburg have got to be right there near the top of my guess. They have beaten both the Eagles and the Pats in regular season.Rather easily if I do say so myself. So untill I see someone defeat them I say they are the team to beat.
I beat NY Giants wish they had a do-over for Eli Manning and wish they had taken Roethlisberger :D

The Steelers will beat the Eagles.

Here are my picks (By the way, I've picked the champion two out of the past three years, New England in '01 and Tampa Bay in '02. Don't ask how I picked the Pats at the start of the season, it was just a gut feeling. I won five hundred bucks on that superbowl).
AFC Championship
Pittsburgh 34, New England 21 -- The Pats are good, but Roethlisberger is the next Joe Montana, and what he has done in his rookie season is phenomenal.
NFC Championship
Philadelphia 28, Atlanta 20 -- The Eagles finally get to the superbowl, but will have to get past another upstart team form the NFC South. The Falcons have looked terrible in some losses this year, but they have looked great in some of their wins. The biggest question is which Atlanta team shows up.
Superbowl
Pittsburgh 25, Philadelphia 17 -- This bowl will be known as the Pennsylvania bowl, but Pittsburgh will dominate again.

Seattle NFC Championship game? They got the players, but if they start playing better I will believe that, The NFC is weak anything could happen.

I wouldn't say the NFC is weak, just more balanced.
We're so used to seeing teams like Detroit and Arizona suck it up that if a team loses to them, they must suck to.
Detroit and Arizona are actually fairly decent this season, making the NFC more balanced.

AFC Championship- Colts over Patriots
The Colts offense is just too good, and an ass whooping of the Pats has been a long time coming. Even though the Pats have a great D, they can't stop the MVP.
NFC Championship- Eagles over Vikes
The Eagles finally get to the Super Bowl. They've been basically unstoppable, and that dominance will show here. McNabb vs. Culpepper, and Owens vs. Moss 2. Like earlier in the year, McNabb and Owens come out on top.
Super Bowl- Colts over Eagles
No one can stop the Colts this year. They can outscore any team in the league, and they play just enough D to give their team the edge. Super Bowl MVP- you guessed it, Peyton Manning, delievering one of the best seasons in NFL History

You might be right about the Colts, Colts didnt beat them yet, but Manning looks unstoppable this year, but the Pats D always does something to beat that team. Pats will beat them again.

Falcons over Patriots
Yeah that's right - The Falcons. This is the only team in the NFC that I think has what it takes to beat the Eagles. Although it's not likely, I can't stand the Eagles. So that's why I'm going with the Falcons.

Colts vs. Eagles in Superbowl. Winners ---> Eagles.
I would like a PA Bowl between the Eagles and Steelers.
But it would be cool if the Colts made it too. I just don't want NE to repeat or for some lowly NFC team to beat my Eagles.

For the fun of it I won't pick the Eagles in the NFC, I think that defense and Terrell Owens will drag that team down in January. Atlanta will represent the NFC.
In the AFC, I'm going to pick the Steelers. Trust me, nobody hates the Steelers more than me either. But this team reminds me a lot of the 2002 Ohio State national championship football team. Strong running game, top op the line defense, a quarterback that can make good decisions with his arm (and feet when nessecary), and good coaching.
As strong as the Colts have been this season, that offense always seems to choke in the playoffs, and I don't think that will change this year.
As for the Patriots, they have as good a chance as the Steelers, but in the AFC Championship game, you have to like the Steerlers' chances at home.

It doesnt matter who the NFC sends. Whoever wins the AFC championship will beat the crappy NFC team. The Eagles havent played anybody good all year except the Steelers and they got crushed. Steelers, Pats, or Colts will take it, slim chance of Jets, its just whoever gets there.

Yea, the NFC is pretty horrible. I see that some of you guys see the Packers in the Super Bowl. Even though I worship them, I can see that they can't make the Super Bowl. Their pass D is unbelievably bad and sometimes their offense sputters. They'd have to play lights out to make it to the big game. I'm rootin for em, but damn, there are a lot of good teams out there in the AFC and I don't think they can make it past the Eagles.

Yes, but they still won right? Remember, it's defenses that win Super Bowls. I still think it's up in the air between the AFC teams, but the Steelers are still looking good. Big Ben isn't a great QB, but he's getting the job done with Bettis and Duce taking the load.

All it takes is one loss. He is a rookie, rookies as well as vets make mistakes. He will make a costly mistake that his D wont be able to stop.

The pats suck, the steelers suck, they havent really played anyone either, the steelers barely beat the sorry raiders, barely beat the sorry cowboys, hell if it weren't for that fumble in the last 1minute they would have lost, the eagles on the other hand have decimated teams like the packers, know if you can sit there and tell me that the eagles are crappy then you should be PIMPED SLAPED like a.... cant say it, but anyways, it wont be the steelers in the super bowl or the patriots... believe dat home boy!

What i can say about my eagles are, they decimated almost every nfc team there is, how many teams have the steelers decimated, or should i say almost lost too.. raiders, cowboys, jets, dolphins, bengals, browns, and the jaguars, all teams were beatin by 10pts or less. most by just 2 or 3 pts. While the steelers allow 19.6 pts per game, the eagles allow only 11.3 pts per game.

Don't kid yourself, the Eagles have a decent defense, but they aren't as good as the Steelers D.
Stats (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statistics?stat=team&sort=ppg&pos=def&league=nfl&order=true&season=2&year=2004)
Steelers - 14.6 pts a game
Philadelphia - 15.0 pts a game
Also Steelers have the edge in Turnover margin with +13 to +12.
Again, the Steelers also give up less yards, 3341 to 4151.

Chargers go against the Colts next week - we're both in the playoffs, since Denver lost.
Looks like the Packards are officially out of the playoffs after losing to the Jags. That was one hell of a football game though.
Go San Diego!

Actually, Green Bay has clinched a playoff spot despite their loss today.
I think Eagles will go for NFC and it will be either Colts or Steelers for AFC. Steelers are a great team I just don't see them as superbowl material. So I say Colts vs Eagles....outcome is Eagles 27-24.

I think this year it will be a hard fought battle for AFC championship but the Colts will pull out a victory in the playoffs and beat both steelers and pats at home. daunting task but considering the steelers and pats averaging less than 17 pts/gm The colts obliverate that with a wopping 40 points per game.
The colts just have a better chance on stats there defense is really stepping up as u saw last night forcing the ravens to punt numerous times and the offense still getting by their D. '
My pick is the
Colts Vs. Falcons.
41 - 31

Look at the Colts offense yesterday though, against a good defense they really didn't do that great, and the Colts don't have a defense, I think they will lose handily to just about anyone in the playoffs

If they don't have a defense, how did they hold the Ravens to only 10 points? They are the Ravens, I know, but Bollers been hot and they still have Jamal Lewis. Most of all though, they are a playoff bound team and the Colts did win.

The reason why the Colts held the Ravens to only 10 points is yes, they are the Ravens, and also, Jon Ogden played like shit, Dwight Freeney just embarassed the big man, he had him beat almost every play during the second half

Nedcraft I think u are totally oblivious to the way the colts defense has been since the 2nd half of the season. Im to lazy to gets stats but we have allowed only a measily 50 some points in the last 5 games We have the NFL Leading person with sacks that is Dwight freeny with 15 We are very quick and who cares if we lets off some big plays we don't let teams get in the end zone and make em settle for field goals or shall i say blocked field goals. 2 in the last weeks or so. The colts defense is getting to be one of the best in the league who cares about stats its about points and we barly give up any.
