My top score I have gotten is a 150, I was so proud of myself. I am sixteen years old.

I want to learn how to put some spin on the ball so it will curve into the pins and almost garuntee a strike. Anyone who is moderatly good at it want to give me some pointers? Is it just a simple flick of wrist that I have to practice or is it much more involved?

30 years old. Average is probably about a 160. I’m the king of [ 9 – spare] frames, due to my non-curve straight-at-the-pocket throw.

In 1993 I bowled my high game at the time: a 214. I tied it a couple of times, but never passed it.

It remained my high score for almost 10 years. I had basically resigned myself to the fact that I would never pass it.:banghead:

January 2003 – normal day, normal life. First game of the night.

First frame: 7 – spare.
Second frame: strike.
Third frame: strike.
Fourth frame: strike. Cool, turkey. This game might be a good one.
Fifth frame: strike. Umm, ok, what the heck is going on here?
Sixth frame: strike. :eek: OMFG…
Seventh frame: strike. :eek: HOLY JESUS. How is this happening?
Eighth frame: strike. :eek: At this point I’m practically panting and having a heart attack.

Who the hell goes from 214 to 269 after 10 years of being stuck there? Only me.

I believe ever since that day my 2nd highest score is a 228. I’ve never even come close to duplicating that game, and I never will. But that’s ok. I’ll take it.:bigwink:

so there was this freshman on my highschool bowling team, he was annoying and thought he was the shit due to one fact, he bowled a 300 when he was in 8th grade.

BUT heres the bullshit part, everyone on our team has been bowling longer, had much higher averages and all this stuff, and this kid bowled a 300 BEFORE he ever bowled a 200 game.. his previous high game was 189... he goes from 189 to fucking 300.

It happens. Sometimes you can just get perfect lane conditions for your stroke or you just get into a zone. I have seen some really shitty bowlers score a 300.
