First of all, many thanks to www.ebaumsworld.com for the great soundboards.

I decided to try some pranks myself, and see how they would go over. I just want to let some of you hear 'em and tell me if they're funny, and maybe some suggestions for improvement. I suggest you start with the first two...they were done before I was smart enough to use *67.

Listen closely on this one...First, it's my little sister. She thinks that Howard is her uncle Roy, so she hands the phone to her sister. Then their Mom comes on the phone. :lol:

Im thinking of doing some pranks of my own, what was your set up?

E.G. how did you record the calls?

Ok, here's my little system...

Have your phone hooked up right by the computer.

Move the computer speakers facing the speaker of the phone.

Go to www.ebaumsworld.com/soundboards.shtml and find your favorite (or most annoying) celebrity.

Then point the computer microphone towards the speakers of the computer and the speaker of the phone (to get equal sound out of each).

Open up Cool Edit and hit record.

Dial the number, hit the speaker phone, and go for it!

yeah, I have a cordless phone, and I just keep the reciever on the hook, and turn on the speaker phone.
