Havn't seen many people discuss it, so what you think about it? Who's your favorite team? I, myself, like hockey. MY favorite team is the San Jose Sharks. Yivgenni Nabokav(sp?) is a great goalie, same with the guy before him(forgot his name). My most hated team would be The Avalanches.

I wish the lockout would end, like most others. After a captivating Stanley Cup Finals, the NHL was bound to have a successful season. Well, guess we were wrong.
My favorite team, to Killerclown's dismay, is the Colorado Avelanche. Ive liked them ever since I watched hockey, back since they moved from Quebec. Peter Forsberg, Patrick Roy, and Joe Sakic have been my favorite players since then, and now that Roy has retired last year, Forseberg and Sakic are.

The sharks?? Thats odd, i never hear that, are you from san jose? Sharks have been my fav team since i was a wee piper, (don't ask me why)...and I've continued to follow them... the leafs as well...
the guy before him...Arturs Irbe maybe? I remember he played in net in the 90's i believe for the sharks... had that goofy helmet.
The NHLPA and league are having a talk this week aren't they? Maybe we can scrounge the rest of the season, but highly unlikely...its going to be a sad winter.

Another Sharks fan here...more of a casual hockey fan than a serious one, but I do miss having the games to watch on TV and such. Nothing quite matches the joy of watching Kyle McClaren flatten someone :)
Unfortunately, from what I've read it seems as though both sides prepared well for this lockout, so neither has any real incentive to get it fixed sooner rather than later. Maybe if the fans made it more clear that they are extremely dissatisfied things would be different...

The Calgary Flames are my favorite scince i was born and raised here, I love Hockey its my favorite sport to watch along with soccer. Are you talkin about Kiprosoff? He was the sharks back up and we got him for a draft pick.
And Hendrixfan you say who cares well who cares what you have to say, what do you like baseball who cares about baseball?

Yes, I am from San Jose. Being a Shark's fan is probably why I hate the Avalanche. Red Wings are a great team, which is exactly why I don't like them. They win almost every game they play. Just boring.

Boston Bruins #1 though they cant beat Montreal, I cant stand that team mostly Mike Ribero who is a faker.

new york islanders, we are going to be really good really soon, we got ricky dipietro and he is something special our defense is sold with aucoin and kenny j. and our offense is not quite there yet but from what i am seeing from wheinhandle he looks like he could be the next peter forsberg (he is actually in sweden right now on mojo on the same line as forsberg learning from him)
oye what a crappy time to not have a season.
Oh man hockey rules so hard. Anyway Maple leafs are my favorite team because they kick ass and I was born in toronto

Yeah this lockout definately doesnt help the leafs out much
roberts and tucker are by far my fav players on the leafs.... they play with such intensity and aren't afraid to get in anyones face...its great hockey
they're all getting old though, i would be surprised if eddie played another season, especially with his back, which means... tellqvist? uh oh :shuffle:
