omfg.. i can relate to that so well. I hate those fuckin dumbasses on the other line all they ever want me to do is unplug and replug things in .. like thats the first fukin thing i trie u dumbasses.. then they make me do it again go around the house un plug all the phones and plug them bak in followed by a bunch of other useless shit that does nothing. Finally i fix it myself or hafto have someone else do it for me.

Anyone who has been on the phone to customer services will at least sympathise with me. :thud:

Networking issues:

Techie: "ok sir please click start"

Me:"uhuh"

Techie: ................................

Me: "ok I've done that"

"now click on 'run' [N.B. i DONT KNOW HOW THEY DO IT BUT I SWEAR TO GOD THESE GUYS PRONOUNCE SPEECH MARKS]

Me: "yup"

Techie: ...............................

Me: "ok..."

Techie: "ok type msdos in the command box and click ok

me: OMFG, finally two instructions at once!! ok, sure

Techie: ..............................

me:"err, I have done that..."

Techie: Ok thankyou sir. your situation is quite unique. Let me check with my supervisor.

.................................................. .................................................. ..

Techie: "Sir I have talked with my Supervisor and he has adviced me of the following; please sir could you unistall all b*lk*n wireless network cards from your system, remove them and start again. If this works please call back another time with your special reference code so we can see how you get on."

Me: Didn't I tell you I've tried that already? I did just reformat my hardrive you numchuck!! omg I am not going to waste another hour of my saturday to get this far.... eugh "Ok thanks. I'll give that a go. what is my reference I.D.?"

Techie:........................... "Your reference I.D. sir?"

Me: "the one you just told me I had. I dont have it..."

Techie: "You.... Do not have a customer reference I.D.?"

Me: "No. I Dont. jeeez.....

Techie: "You should have been given a reference I.D. at the beginning of your phone call sir."

Me: "sorry, but i spent the first 15 minutes of this phone call trying to phathom my way around the deep dark maze that is your touchtone self help service. I might as well have pondered the meaning of life; it would have been easier!"

Me: "Ididnt get a customer reference I.D. when I phoned."

Techie: "I am not aloud to talk to you about other sections in the support centre. Please do not make derogotory comments about myself or other staff here at b*lk*n call centre. This conversation has been recorded. goodbye sir. I hope to receive no abuse from you in the future"

Me: "WTF???????? .................................

Techie: .................................................. ..... "Sir are you harrasing me?"
