Henry Gibson has always been one of my favorites. What he lacks in power and strength, he makes up for in speed and agility. What a true player.

Bob Probert..........

Trust me I know who you mean. I have 6 DVDs of Probert fights! :bang:

I would say Mark Messier even despite the last few years. A great player and even better leader. Gretz was unreal but not a total player. Like many listed. A lot of guys are unreal talents but not complete players. Mike Bossy is another guy like that. I never saw im but Gordie Howe is Mr. Hockey. Froma ll accounts he was the dirtest player ever! Bobby Clarke maybe 2nd in that catagory.

Being a Vancouver Canucks fan ..... Messier is like a swear word out here, he crippled a rising team, best thing they did was cut him lose. In his hay day, a good player but he should hung up his skates 6 years ago.

Probert was probably the best fighter the NHL has ever seen. Guys like Dave Brown, Behn Wilson, Joey Kocur, and Clarke Gillies could all be debated for that to though IMO. Those were some amazing fighters!

No doubt Mess should have retired years ago. I am counting his first 12-15 years or so. He was a great player and an even better natural leader. You are right though about it now. It is sad.
