Why do people like them? Does anyone really think that these guys pass as rockers? Anyone whos picks up a guitar can now be called a rocker by the media. They dress too well. "These guys" include: Ryan Cabrera, Yellowcard, Dashboard Confessional, and Jesse McCartney. I don't like em, my sister does. This is not a rant thread, but more of a pondering thread. Why do little girls love them? Who do they get by? What purpose do they have in God's master plan? :insane:

I had been denying the slow death of rock for a while now. Then that Ryan Cabrera video came on where it's him walking and balancing along a wall while singing. That was one of those moments where you stop everything and stare at the screen blankly, blinking sparingly as not to miss a moment where this vidoe is actually supposed to show some masculinity. That moment never came, and I cried that night. :(


Rock's few remaining good groups are making their final stand, and unless reinforcements arrive soon, the end is innevetable.

Like someone said in the forums, "they are another stamp pakage by the Record Companies". These past couple of years, the look for a specific band has a look now. Since when in music history has looks been the first objective to sell music. I just hate how every one dresses to fit there style. Everyone needs to get paid, these Record companies make you sign there evil contract and that's how they take advatage of these queers. Yeah these famous people say they want a band, but what so fun about it you cant even put your 2 Cents in. I'm glad this type of music is taking over, cause one day real music is gonna hit...and its gonna hit big.
