i recently updated my wmp and now it wont play any music files: everytime i open a file i get the error report screen....ok i can live with this but on top of that if i go to any websites that dont have any direct links to videos then my internet will get the same error report message. on top of all of that since u can uninstall windows media player 10 i have no idea what to do.....????? :help:

i had this problem too

if you have K-Lite Codec Pack installed, uninstall it

that's the only was to fix it

Look down to the middle of the page. Most errors are labelled with a ID, match the ID of your error with the same one on the link to skip straight to your problem.

screw WMP, get BS player (http://www.bsplayer.org/). i have never had and problems with it. but if you to, there is the even more versitile VLC player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/)

WMP works fine for me....I like it better than winamp or realplayer, mainly because i've used the same damn player for like 10 years.

I use WMP just because I'm too lazy to be bothered with other players, and WMP has never given me any significant problems, other than the fact that it's a huge resource hog.

I use WMP, but it's hard to get it to sound good. :(

Yeah, that happend to me to. So I said screw everything, and now I just listen to aol music. I feel so poor.
