Did you guys hear this? Wow, the Eagles were thinking about benching him for the rest of the season just to avoid injury because they already clinched a playoff spot. But they didn't follow through and their best playmaker is gone for the season. Apparently he tore some ligaments in his right ankle and with watching ESPN, the bottom ticker says he broke part of his leg too. Ouch.

That really sucks. I hope he has a full recovery. I always hate seeing an athlete go down....

Bring on the "OMG HE DESERVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!''

Haha, I'm glad he's injured, no athlete deserves to be injured, but I can still be happy about it. Guess there's always next year for the Eagles :D I've never liked TO, and especially when he was so immature to go ripping signs off of the stands in Cleveland because he didn't like them

Another season down the shitter for the Eagles. I fucking love this. Roy Williams fucking gave him what he needed........a broken fibula. Being a bitch just caught up to T.O. and now he is done for the season. ESPN just said that he would be lucky to even play in the Super Bowl if the Eagles made it that far. That wont happen.

Yea, me too. I was watching the Packers game last night and damn that hit to Robert Ferguson made me cringe. Apparently he was temporarily paralyzed with a concussion and a neck sprain. It happens in a game like football and nobody deserves it. I hated TO, but damnit people are stupid when they cheer this injury.

I hope he comes back and the Eagles lose with him. Im tired of hearing complaints about if the Eagles had a big time WR, they would have made it to the Super Bowl by now. I want to see him back, 100% healthy, and a team like the Pack or the Vikings annihilate them. Then, the Eagles will complain they lose because they didn't have a big-time punter.

Eh, before the season my friends and I picked teams to win it all, and my first pick was The Eagles. Like 'em or not, they are/were a good team.

Yay took long enough for a comment like this. Look, I would never wish injury on an athlete no matter how much I didn't like him. All you people just hate him because he plays for the other guys. Sure he can be cocky on the field, but that shows his emotion and character. TO's a decent guy too. Ever hear of him doing bad shit off the field like drugs? Nope, never. You look at some other players who show nothing on the field but do the opposite off it (Jamal Lewis and his drug charge, and those two Raiders who got drunk).

Well, there goes the Eagles season, who's up for a Steelers-Falcons Superbowl?

Anybody?

Damn you guys almost stampeded me as you lept from the bandwagon. Please, slow down, walk, there's no rush to jump on the next one.
The Eagles are still a very good team w/o TO, though even when TO doesn't make any TD's, the main thing he does is pull the extra saftey and gets the double team which opens it up for McNabb to hit someone else. The Eagles have been a team of guys that someone always steps up in a time of need. They've done it the last three years. Remember how empty that bandwagon was when McNabb got hurt, then Koy, then AJ Feely of all people came in and wupped some ass? C'mon, wait until the season is actually over before you scream "it's all over".

ps, The NFC Championship game still goes through Philly...again, so with or without TO, he'll be on the sidelines to dance and piss some of you off when they win. lol

Yep, that's true. TO said that the Eagles still have the guys to get it done and he's right. Who was the leading receiver the last several games? Not TO, but Westbrook. A running back. With him and McNabb leading the charge and if Mitchell, G. Lewis, the tight ends, and Pinkston (especially) step up, then Philly should still have a great chance at success.

The Eagles will still probably make it, because of Brian Westbrook's versatility.

But if they lose in another NFC Championship game, the complaining will never end. It will all be, "Well our star player got hurt." Just like last season. And that's a terrible excuse. Championship teams overcome adversity, so we're gonna see if this team is a championship team.

If TO was on another team, I'd hate the fucker with a passion, but I do like when he talks shit on and off the field. The only thing I'm concerned about TO being out, is what he does to other teams defensive plans. They double-team him, sometimes triple team him, and that leaves guys like Stinkston, and ThatotheReciever out there to make some catches. Westbrook can't carry the load into the playoffs. Other teams are gonna wiseup so fast and watch, next week he's gonna have that extra coverage spying him that normally guys to TO. The injury hurts the team on many levels of play. We'll have to see how the Birds do after a real opponent comes to town, and then we'll know whether or not to put the bandwagon in the garage until next season. I'm thinking they still have the depth and talent to make a great run at the 'Bowl again this year. Who knows.

The eagles made it to three nfc titles w/out him, they'll do it again, T.O. has not been the biggest threat in the past 3 gms, Brian Westbrook has, no one can seem to stop him, they did not have him last nfc championship game, plus mcnabb broke his rib in the begining of the 3rd qtr, leaving a sorry ass Q.B. Koy Detmer to take the load, T.O. will return when they play in the super bowl in jacksonville on Feb 6,2005. Theres even a slight chance he could play in the nfc championship game, plus the only threat the eagles have are the Falcons, and i dont even think there a threat, Kansas City beat the shit out of them like 55-3 i think, and then tampa Bay kicked there ass 30-3. And please dont say the packers, look what happend when the eagles got ahold of them.

actually there is no chance he will play in the nfc championship game because he is out 7 weeks at least....espn just said he will be lucky to play in the superbowl if the eagles make it there.

It was 27-0 i think. All it took for tampa was Simeon Rice. The Eagles have Douglas and Kearse, he doesn't stand a fucking chance.

Even if TO was healthy enough to play in the superbow, and even if the Eagles made it there, how useful do you think he will be? Not at all

he only broke his fibula........i broke my fibula in highschool and i played ON it for 6 weeks while it healed...no cast..........you can play with a broken fibula but the thing about TO's injury is that his sprain was so bad and swelled up so much that the swelling broke his bone not the contact.

In an interview after the game eagles coach andy reid said "at least his leg isnt broken".............well later they found out it was.

Believe me, I know about playing on a broken leg, I had a fracture in my femur, and played on it for 2 months before we even realized it was fractured, I just thought it was tendonitis or something, and it was painful, but you could still play through it, but he won't be nearly as good on it. Not as fast, not as powerful, and certainly won't be able to make some of the moves he makes
