Hey guys. I downloaded DivX so I could watch .avi files, but now when I click them Quicktime still tries to open them even though it can't play them. Anyone know how to change this.

Right click on the .avi file and go to Properties... Where it says "Open with..." Change that to the DivX Player instead of Quicktime Player.

why??, quick time should cover .mov's, and WMP takes care of avi's
but...
open apple and disable all the file types in the option menu
