Is there any way to track down the posers who bad rep members using other peoples names? I have had several of these occurances. I won't mention who they tried to represent. I'm sure I am not alone. This person or persons are trying to fool us to give some good standing members a bad name. It's going to work for me. I know this poser isn't who he is trying to represent. I suppose if there isn't any way to track them, the best way to stop them is to just ignore them. But I have sent pm's to the folks they tried to pose as just to inform them that someone is out to blacken their name.

I agree completely. The rep. system is absolutely retarded and needs to be changed. If this is supposed to be a board which promotes discussion, I find that being able to negative rep someone anonymously is merely a hinderance to the whole idea of discussion. It's really, truely, pointless.

Not to mention, it pisses me off.

Im guessing the only way to find out who these people are is to buy a premium account. It shows who sent you the rep. But if enough non-premium members want to know who the rep came from maybe eBaum could enable the option to show names on the reps.
