Well to start off i am going to say that I bought soft tacos from Wal Mart so I could have some for dinner and lunch. Well I get out the cheese and meat and everything else and I take out the tacos (After I had already ate two) and I see mold on them. I went to the bathroom and threw up. Hopefully mold wasn't on those two. I thought I was going to die. The worst thing about it all I ate them the day I bought them. So it wasn't like they were sitting in the cabnit for a couple of weeks.
I should have went to Publix(Grocery Store)
Point of thread: Tell how much you either HATE or LOVE Wal-Mart.

I never eat in a place where I can buy underwear.

So I like the choices in wal-mart, But I stayed away from the food for a long time.

I had this happen to me. I some tasty kakes I got out of a vending machine. Started munchin away, then after halfway through one of them, I noticed it was covered in green hair. Fucking gross. Got sick just thinking about it. Mold didn't taste bad; just the thought of mold made me sick.

I only buy the chips, chocolate and pop from wal-mart. Because all of it is under a buck and anywhere else it'd be like $2.50

I also buy the ocassional game or DVD there too.

I hate Wal Mart for too many reasons to mention

PsiRedEye22
12-27-2004, 02:58 AM
Why do you all hate it? Because they make you pay very little money for things that would otherwise cost more money everywhere else? Have they actually harassed you as a customer...or are you against them because they are a big company and your duty as an "anti-system" teenager is to hate big companies?

1. they destroy small business
2. by destroying small business they slowly create a monopoly negate the ideals of capitalistic competition.
3. they destroy their competitors, also making them a monopoly
4. they create a dependency in small towns
5. when they move into these small towns they destroy the unique businesses and ultimately the unique culture of the area, contibuting to the spread of urbanization in america.

1. They don't destory small business, they obtain the best products and give the best service, drawing customers away from the inferior stores.

2. Once again, they are just the top of the ladder, competition is EXACTLY what capitalism is founded on.

3. They just outsell their competitors, not buy them out, making them NOT a monopoly.

4. Of course they do, their shit is CHEAP.

5. That started after we fucked the Native Americans out of their land, deal with it.

I have no strong feelings ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.

I like Wal-Mart because it has basically everything I need, but on the other hand, I also like Mom-and-Pop stores, because it seems that those stores are more quality driven.

Solution -- Shop at Wal-Mart for your basic needs. For tacos, go to Taco Bell.

Matt04
12-27-2004, 07:14 AM
why in the hell you buying food at wal-mart why not just go to tacobell if you dont got the money or your local mexican restuaraunt. Like the other guy said dont ever buy food at a place that sells underwear.

He could not be more right about this. I hate walmart. I tried to boycott walmart with a group of friends for these very reasons, we stood outside on a saturday handing out flyers and waving signs. I guess that's just a classic case of to-much-time-on-the-hands-osis. Anyway, walmart is also far inferior to target; the target stores are much cleaner, nicer, and they have better products. My advice to you is to go to target instead of walmart whenever possible. My stance would be different if I lived in a small town but I dont, so that's what Im going to preach.

Why any fucker would waste some much time in their life hating a shop is beyond me. Its a fucking shop, get over it. If you dont like it then shop elsewhere, no-one forces you or anyone else to buy from there.

Wal-mart....the god of all stores.

I walk into this place and always see old sales people waving at me. I give them a ghetto nod back, and then take a cart.

First place I go is the food section. Fuck all the other sections, besides the elctronics sections.

I get gatorade, pizza, and some cereal. Cheap pop too.

I move over towards the 8.99 dvds and see if there is anything worth wild. If not, I move on. I get myself a package of gum and move deeper in. I looked at some of the dvds, music cds...never bought one though...and TVs and stuff.

Then I leave.

Unlike places like Best Buy which overprice your ass. Or Circuit city where you get lost in the fucking circle.

You have to destroy the heart of the Wal-Mart, it's somewhere in the T.V. section.

Haha..I just watched that episode...my feelings for Walmart goes in phases... as of now I like them because most of the things in the store are cheap..on that same token, you get what you pay for..meaning I don't really like to buy electronics from Walmart because they have a way of being uber crappy... I buy all stuff like that at Best Buy (yeh, I'm a best buy whore...I love that place). But yeah, I like shopping for food at like 3 in the morning at Walmart because they're just stocking things and because the place is relatively empty. I don't have any serious adverse feelings towards Walmart (not yet anyway..but when they try to take over the world I might get a little peeved) and I don't have any overly loving feelings towards the place...to me, Walmart is just..meh..it's Walmart.

Wal-mart rules, everything is so damn cheap. Especially today when I bought Donkey Kong Country 2 (it owned back in '95 and still owns to this day on the GBA) and it was $15 cheaper than all the other stores I went to.

Umhhh... so did Jewel Osco over here, and it rocks. If we got like less than 10 items, I just go there where barely anyone would waste their time there and start checking out. It's fun :).

If you have more than 30 items, and you go there, well, that sucks.

yea, Walgreens took business from this old family drug store from my old town. It's sad, but that's life.

Can't complain about Walmart. It's the only place near my college town that supplies the everyday needs of life. Plus the greeters make me happy.

I didnt know wal-mart sold food.

It is a Super Wal-Mart, not just a regular Wal-Mart.

Anyways....I think that food did do something to me. I haven't eaten anything since I had them tacos. It has been about 2 days. I haven't got out of bed in 2 days. About an hour ago was the first time I got up in 2 days. Being sick sucks.
