HL2 install problem

I have tryed installing half life 2 twice and both times i get this error once i get to the 4th disc. says something about there was an error with a file like hl2.cad or some bullshit like that. anyone know what the deal is? :insane:

^^^if that doesnt work, your cd may be defective, so take it back to your retailer. Also can your computer handle the game?
