Kanism

are the toons limited to strictly anime?
Akira is the grand daddy of anime!
and of course, the bastardized Dragonball saga and the new Yu Gi Oh too (hah...Cartoon Network kicks it!)
Simpsons, Family Guy, Digimon (I don't know...something about it fascinates me), Transformers

my glass doors would come crashing down on me if I tried the hanging routine in the shower (although the dude in Shawshank did the hanging thing propa!)
Tom and Jerry were/are hellagreat...just like a lot of us in here...all hating and fighting one minute...then buddy/buddy the next....oh how life imitates art....(lick it! T&J is art)
Forgot about Thundercats...man...fetish for cat suits...but, hell!!!! Cheetarah re-defines all that!!!!!
landlord....lol....I just think about Eddie Murphy's poem "My Langlord" from the old SNL's
For me... I love Wylie Coyote and the Road Runner. I also liked She-ra. You know HeMan's counterpart cartoon. She was like an early blue print for a future Xena. I like strong women role models. Even if they are fake!

did anyone ever see the planet of the apes cartoon?
Kanism

if I did...it must've been so excruciatingly bad that I've repressed the memory...hell, I even remember that H.R. Puffinstuff shit they had on TV if that gives you a baseline as to how bad stuff has to be

Kanism

what's Harvey Birdman and how did it end? considering chris and I seem to have similar animated tastes; I am now officially interested in this Birdman thing
KinkyKlown
01-11-2003, 05:06 PM
I dunno if harvey birdman comes on anymore, but it used to be on adult swim, which comes on sunday nights. He is a lawyer that defends old cartoon characters, ie scooby doo and shaggy being busted for supposdly being high, and fred flinstone as a godfather. As for the endings, they were always pointless, but I found them pretty funny.
chris_78660
01-11-2003, 05:19 PM
i just downloaded the episode where fred flintstone is the last don. basicaly the show takes old hanna barbara characters and puts them in real life situations (in comedic form of course). i picked up the episode from kazaa, but tats all i could find. kanisim, if i were you iwould get a hold of a couple episodes as well, its worth the time;)

I'm still a kid at heart so I love all cartoons. Here are a few of my favorite things..............
old school: rainbow bright, care bears, smurfs, heman, and thundercats ...just to name a few :)
nowadays: simpsons, king of the hill, and family guy which is no longer on.
Although the simpsons aren't worth watching anymore. Does anyone else agree..?
chris_78660
01-27-2003, 01:23 PM
i agree, they just don't live up to the family guy.....the simpsons just renewed their contract with fox, and will be on the air till 2008. they really need to come up with some fresh ideas to pull this one off..
Kanism
01-27-2003, 01:28 PM

I've always thought the Simpsons were getting better. I like how they focused the show more on Homer instead of Bart. I never really found Bart that funny, just an essential part to the show, but Homer on the other hand is flipping fantastic.

i agree, but harvey birdman takes the cake. when he defends scooby and shaggy from a drug arrest, it was funny as hell. also if you are a sopranos fan like i am, then you would love the "dabba don" episode where he defends fred flintstone who is the mob boss.
i love brak, i've been a fan of his since space ghost coast to coast aired 5 or so years ago:D

I love the simpsons, but Family Guy was just amazing, how the fuck did it not work out?!!!!! It was too funny. Can you get all the episodes on Kazaa, because I NEED to see an episode! I think the simpsons is getting weaker, but the last few episodes were good, hopefully the one today will be good. Anybody see the Family Guy where their watching t.v. and they have Homicide with Bert and Ernie? HHAAHAHA, that was classic.

If the file name has div4, div3, or some shit like that at the end of it, then you need to download divx from divx.com to play it.

02-17-2003, 03:37 PM
likewise with any other suffix, and yees you can DL family guy off of kazaa, i am sharing and i have almost every episode made

02-17-2003, 03:55 PM
Doesn't the Kazaa player play them? Anyways you should still download divx because that's what I use to play my aqua teen hunger forces, and they're avi.
