I just finished a Leslie Nielsen soundboard a couple of hours ago.
As soon as i tweak it and make some good calls with it i'll see if ebaum wants to put it on his site, sight, whatever i don't know which spelling is correct. It still needs some things like a (no) button and a (stop) button. bye the way i have made a couple of soundboards already, but i still don't know how to make a d@mn (stop) button. So if any of you would like to help, and tell me how to make one, please do! Huff...that's it, i'm through.

This "was" one of my ideas. First I'd like to see how good yours is, before I decide wether to devote a full week to making a soundboard of this magnitude!

I just emailed ebaum my leslie nielsen soundboard and some pranks i made with it. the pranks my not get to the site, i don't think they were very good, but they might get on there. anyway it's only a matter of time before it comes out, if he puts my soundboard on the site. well... that's all for now, tell me what you think of the board if and or when he puts it on the site.

I used Naked Gun 1 and 2 and a couple of sounds from Wrongfully Accused. No Naked Gun 3 though. So if yours will be better go ahead and make one. I guess i didn't get the board in on time to make this last update, so everybody willl have to wait for the next update to get it, if he puts it up at all.

Oh he'll put it up as long as it sounds good. Don't worry about size. People would rather have a soundboard that sounds really good.
I rented Naked Gun 1-2-3, Wrongfully accused, and Airplane lastnight. we'll see what kind of quotes I can find.

Other possible movies. Spy Hard, Dracula, men with brooms, + more probably.

Truthfully I don't think this is a GREAT soundboard. But I sure as hell enjoyed doing it. And I did a good job with the sound. if you can't figure out HOW everythings groups I'll show you.

You have a few more sounds than i do. You have some of the same sounds i used too. And you have good sound quality. I think my sounds are good too,but some on my board are a little loud, i think, but the people i've called with my board were able to understand the loud sounds as well as the other sounds. Anyway you made a great board. I wish i would have thought to get some of the sounds you used on your board from the movies both of us used, but, that's water under the bridge now, already sent it in.

Looks like my board didn't make it on the site.:( I guess ebaum liked your board better, Andy. But that's cool, I'll try to get my board on another site if i can. Hopefully somebody will put it up; I think it's a good board, but,maybe it's because i made it and am blinded by my own whatever, for lack of a better word. Anyway I'll send the board around and keep everbody updated on my progress.

i am trying to record the miss cleo soundboard but i can't. i saved as target and got the ie shortcut. can anyone please tell me how i can record these soundbites? Really appreciate it

you mean, download them? theres many ways you could do it.

right click the link and "save target as". then pick the location you want to save the file to. then find it!
Or you could click on the link and wait for the whole mp3 to load. than go to:
Tools>Internet Options>Temporary Internet Files-Settings>View Files

THEN find the mis cleo prank in the folder, copy and paste it into whatever folder you want on your computer

i did save as target, but i only got the ie shortcut, whereas i was on another site, did the same, and the soundboard was on my hard drive--it was Arnold [hilarious] i will try the other way you suggested. i think the other file was .exe whereas this is .swf or something...

I haven't seen Gold Member yet, but i own the other two movies, and mini me doesn't talk in The Spy Who Shagged Me. So unless he talks in Gold Member, where would you be able to record his voice?

Phoenix!! That soundboard is really good. Honestly I think it came down to the overall filesize.

What kind of audio files did you use in this soundboard? Mp3 or wave etc?

And some of the quotes sound A LOT different then mine. Like "Vincent Ludwig is involved in a plot to assasinate the queen!". That one sounds so much different than the one on my soundboard.

I used wav files. I like to use more questions and replies then statements, that way I can get the caller hooked so the they will be sort of lost in the call and won't hang up to quickly. Then when I've got them good and into the call I like to slam them with an insult or a statement that really pisses them off or confuses them. That's how I like to design my boards, although I haven't made that many and this is the first i have ever sent in. But if you want to know what my calls are like, Howard Stern Calls The Bench Warmer is mine, and so is Robert Deniro Calls Random People About Pot. They were posted by ebaum, that's why I was sort of shocked when he didn't post my board and pranks. I know some of the Leslie calls I made weren't that good, but in a couple the people got really pissed off. But I wish that i could have gotten more questions on my board so i could draw them into the call more than i already can, but the Vincent buttons really hook them into the call all by their selves. As for why the sounds sound different than yours it's the way I record them. My tv has a jack for headphones, so all I do is plug one end of a double male plug into my tv and the other into the microphone jack on my computer and waalaa, I've got my sounds. Whoo... That was a mouth full.

Almost forgot. I also use a sound editor to tweak the sounds, like make pauses shorter and stuff like that before i put them on the board. And I as for the size of the board, it was only about 800 kbs until I set the quality for the sounds to their limit, that way the sounds don't lose any quality when I publish it.

yeah I put my sound quality at 32 kbps. Thre actually isn't much a difference.
When I do prank phone calls myself, I'll use the max soundd quality.

Do you use like a sound editing program to record the sound thats coming into your computer from your television?

where can I find a double male plug that could channel sound from my TV OR Radio into my computer? Thats what I REALLY want!

Phoenixbinder - Where can we hear your calls? Are they posted anywhere?

I have a private number so I can make all the calls I want and no one can see my number.:D But if they have caller id than I can't call them, I mean I could, I could unblock my number, but then they would see my number, so what would be the point of a private number? Know what I mean?

And no I don't use a wav edit program to record my sounds. I use this little shareware program that is just for recording. I use it to record my wav sounds for my boards and for my calls.:) It's nifty, you chose what format you want to record in, you can adjust what kb rate you record at, you can record stereo and mono ect...ect... It's a great little program. But on the down side it ask you to buy it, and after awhile it says that if you don't pay now you can't use it anymore, but you actually can use it. But after it tells you that it will delete every file you record that is in the Record Folder, but only after you close and reopen the program. So if your Record Folder is empty, and you record a sound or whatever your recording, you MUST move that file to a different folder before you close and reopen the record program. Is everybody able to follow that, cuz I'm not even sure I can.

And for the cord I just use a speaker cord that came with my old computer.

And finally the only calls you can hear of mine are on ebaums world. I have more, but I have no site of my own so I have to send them in to ebaum, and if he doesn't want to put them on his site, then there's nothing I can do. I only send in the calls that I am going to keep myself, so, I have all the calls I sent in but didn't get on the site. So unless you have an idea about what I should do, than i guess i'll keep sending them in and wait to see if ebaum puts them up.

I'll try but the zip file is kinda big, 11 megs, and I'm using a 56k modem. So can your email take that much? And if it can, it will take awhile to send. And even longer if I get kicked off.
