OK guys, i need another favor. not really a favor, but a question. i need to make a good mix that you can put on sleep in your stereo and doze off. i dont want songs, just the music (i forgot the word for it)... i like the melody in songs like:
The One - J Lo (not the song... but i love the melody)
Yellow Submarine - Beatles
Walking Away - Craig David
Thank You - Dido
etc.
all im asking is for melodies that you like and their titles so i can dload of kazaa, share bear, or lime line (thats all i use)..
please help out
thx

Try Holiday by the beegees. ( I think thats the song name, and I think thats how you spell beegees :D ) Its a somewhat depressing song in some aspects but its calm and I suppose its good "Doze" music.
Also check Requiem for a dream soundtrack. I believe the song is called winter overture. It is a very calm relaxing song. Its a clasical reminx. If you download this let me know what you think of it. If I think of any more ill keep editing this post and adding them.

To relax and go to sleep? Speak to Me/Breathe and Us and Them by Pink Floyd. No matter how nuts I get, those songs always calm me down.

i hate going to sleep to music because it always wakes me up in the midlle of the night....and if you know me at all, you NEVER wake me up.
conciousness is a process that i need to do by myself.

I'd say the best songs, the ones that put me to sleep atleast are
Biggie "who shot ya?"

I'd have to say the best thing I have ever listened to to fall asleep is () by Sigur Ros. It may be a little avant-guarde for some tastes, just to give a caveat.

when i need to settle down to sleep i listen to empirisiscm by borknagar. it calms me right down. it probably won't work for anyone on here because of the black metal style screaming, but the cd does put me to sleep, especially the songs "the genuine pulse" and "gods of my world"

ahahaha i still listen to metal to put me to sleep. i just put in some metallica, or testament, turn the volume down to 7 just so i can barely make out the words, then doze off. i is so comforting to listen to music while slowly drifting out of conciousness, especially when its the gods of metal!!!!!
