got a question for some people

im having trouble thinkin of some bands with music similar to that of oasis'. can anyone name some others?

I would suggest you try something like www.musicplasma.com may help give you similar bands.
I would suggest feeder, The verve (Alot of ashcrofts single stuff is pretty good though) Blur maybe and Radiohead, alot of uk bands that have similar sounds.

I think...The Coral sounds like Oasis...I haven't heard many Oasis songs, though...You be the judge.

Bands that sound like Oasis... just go for bands from the north west (of england). A good one to go with is The Stone Roses

I heard someone say that Jet was part rolling stones part Oasis. Then again I've never heard Oasis before...

Jet copied Oasis and Rolling Stones. Oasis Is Influenced By The Kinks, Stone Roses, Paul Weller and Neil Young But they remind me of the Beatles strangly. Other bands at the time that are like them are Blur and the Verve And a band that followed them was Coldplay.
They remind me of the beatles too...strange :cool:
