What is up with European music?

Recently, I came accross the a few singles charts from Europe. They feature a song called "Schnappi" (snappy in english), which is about a crocodile. Its a children's song, but is really popular with all ages. I just dont understand. :confused: Here are some links:

Europeans have better music than the US

Placebo is also European and they really have talent and their style is kinda original.

Of course they aren't the best, but they deserve a listen, I really think they're good and are much better than bands like Blink 182, Nickelback, Lostprophets, etc.

Among the alltime #1 hits in Britain, a song by the Teletubbies is in there, as well as a song from Bart Simpson. :rolleyes: As well as Vanilla Ice and Limp Bizkit... :rolleyes:
