Depends on the nature of the calls.
Was she:
-Making threats?
-Calling 50 times a day?
-Calling at 3am?
-Recording the calls?
-Saying obscene things?
-Leaving lots of annoying messages?
-Impersonating creditors/the police?

If it was just a few calls with none of the above then I doubt it'll be a big deal unless he does want to pursue criminal harassment....although a law suit would be more likely (and more easily won) than a criminal case.

I'm not sure about NJs laws but as long as she wasn't a retard then I don't think it'll be a huge deal... but seeing as how it pissed the guy off enough to hire a detective, he'll probably at least want to sue to recoup the costs. Just my opinion though.

well she didnt threaten him or anything like that, she would call constantly though, and i dont think her ex would press charges on her, she just wanted to know whats the worst that can happen???? and is it the b/f decision to press them or he has no say?

would any body else know???

Well it would be his decision. I don't know these people but here are the order of things that could happen from most likely to least.
-Nothing. He lets it go and she feels like an idiot for a long time.
-He wants his money back for a detective so he takes her to small claims court.
-He's really pissed off and hates this girl so he has her charged with harassment.

eh...So why exactly was she prank calling and harassing him if she was trying to get "closer" and more intimate with him? :insane:

Unless she was going for the 3rd grade "annoy the person you love/like so he/she won't think you like him/her" then I do not think her actions in this way were in her best interest. In conclusion, she dug her own grave. :thud:

But good luck to her attempting to set things right with him. :)

As long as she didn't threaten anyone, the absolute worst that would ever happen is that she would get a small fine and maybe have to do some community service. People often forget that a prank call is hardly a crime and would most likely be laughed out of any courtroom if she had the cajones to demand a jury trial (as is her right by law).

well her jealous got the best of her, she's still trying to cope, cuss she found out her ex likes someone else. And my friend was with him only last week (if you know what i mean), I think thats why she acted the way she did, your heart can make you do crazy things sometime, even to the ppl you love.

but she actually saw her ex last nite, they talked, she told me it went ok, but not the way she was hoping, but they both decided to just give each other space, and see how that goes for awhile, he still wants her in his life but he told her its better if they give the space, cuss it would b better for her. But idk mayb they will get back together in the future, it just seems to me, like i told her, he might still care for her, even if he only cares about her if something happens to her,(that's what he told her), but for him not to press charges and still want to be her friend after everything that happen, he must still have some type of feeling towards her even though he doesnt show it, but only time will tell........ :shuffle:

so why is she stupid, none of you ever been in love before??.. its not that her relationship was just a fling or acouple of months with this guy, she's been with him for 4 years..and she's known him for about 6. Its hard to let someone go just like that.

she's heartbroken that's all, she's not stupid!!
