Sherlock Holmes Photo Hunt help!

Man, I SUCK at this. I can't get past the first one. Don't read this next part if you haven't played it yet. I need help with the FIRST picture!

I figured out the green hat, water in basin, bowl on counter, shirt on shelf. But I cannot find the last one. GRRRR!

I love these kinds of games. This reminds me of Hocus Pocus and Slylock Fox in the Sunday funny pages. Man, Slylock Fox is one bad motherfucker...

I beat it in 4 seconds. Can provide a screenshot on request. (And yes, obviously I cheated to get that score, but it IS possible! I'm sure you guys will eventually figure out how to do it... it's so obvious it's painful!) :D

this is the easiest game to cheat on in the history of flash, lol, and theres more than one way to do it too... i've only gotten 9 seconds so far because i use a laptop and im slow with the damn touchpad thing

Heh, okay, as if 4 seconds wasn't enough, I actually beat the game in ZERO seconds. The only way to get it is by completing each level in under a second. Try it! :D

Erm, I dunno if this is what you're doing. But try clicking on the same thing 5 times in each picture.

So for level one, click the sink 5 times.
Level two, click the book on the table 5 times.
Level 3, click the little stick that was cut in half 5 times..
etc.

Or you could keep right clicking and pressing "Play".

Yup, that's it.

If you're fast enough doing that, you can complete each level in "0" seconds, and your total will be "0" at the end. You can also keep clicking and get up to "9/5" items before it goes back to "1/5" (which is probably just a cut off "10").

There's another way to cheat, you just compare the pictures before hitting start, can't believe they allow you to see them. :sleeping:

Yup! I got them all. You're right, the first two were the trickiest. ONLY FIVE pictures? I want more.

This is how I cheated:

I took a screen shot of the two pictures and then opened it in Paintshop.
I then cut out the two pictures into seperate images.
I ran 'edge detection' on both images which basically outlines everything in white leaving a black background.
I then adjusted colour levels for each image so that insted of both having white lines, one would have blue, the other would have red (or something like that).
I then clicked 'negative' to reverse colours on both so they would have coloured lines and a white background.
I set the background colour attribute to 'white' for bot, then I copied one image.
I then pasted 'as transparent selection' into the other image and lined the two up.
Everything in that image would be one colour except for teh changes which would be a different colour.
I then undid that move and copied the other image onto the other one in the same fashion.

If you practice this, you can get the whole process down to less than a minute leaving you plenty fo time to find all the differences.
Too bad Holmes didn't have a computer. :D

I can technically beat it in 3 seconds

heres how

click the buttons in theres combinations

Tab + Enter + Tab + Enter and so on....

clicking tab finds the differences because the way the game was made

is that the differences have an action, the red circle, so it basically finds them.

dont know too much about it, but thats how i get high scores in these type of games.

I didn't do the tab trick, but the second time around I beat it in 38 seconds. The first time I couldn't find the final item, and the second time I remembered them all and immediately found that stupid splotch!

you know, you can beat it in a total of 0 seconds easily...

just do that tab thing, except instead of hitting tab, enter, tab, enter, etc., just hit tab til one of the items is highlighted, and since you can click on each item multiple times and still get points for it, just hold enter and that works as clicking at a fast speed, which turns out to be under a second.

I have a cheat in that game just keep on clicking on one thing and then it will say Complete i finished in 5 seconds 1 second for every round lol just do this ok :angel:
