Hey, im a biiiiiiiiig fan of hip hop and rap, especially the artists 50 cent, dizzie rascal, dr dre, ruff ryders, ludacris and NWA.

This thread isnt an argument over different tastes in music, so please if you have something negative to say about hip hop and rap then please refrain from sharing it with us.

The point of this thread is for people to list some of their favorite hip hop and rap songs, and any rare songs that wernt really released properly. This is mainly to give me some ideas of somgs to download. :D

I listen to rap mostly for amusement, I don't take much of it seriously. Eminem is one of my favorite rappers but I don't particularly like him as a person, I just laugh at his lyrics.

I noticed nobody mentioned Obie Trice. I think he's funny as shit, anyone ever heard that song "got some teeth"?

Obie Trice is good, but i think he should release more of his own songs. Most of the tracks he is on he is only featuring in them. Thats why not many people talk about him. He's like the Lloyd Banks of 50 cent, not many people have herd of him but hes in a lot of 50 cents tracks.

are you one of those people that have no taste what soever so you just copy everybody else? all the songs you've listed were the top hits on the radio from the past year.... you remind me of myself when i was like 9... taking songs from the radio and memorizing them. thats pretty bad... i mean if you're sixteen you should have your own taste, not just be a part of the pack. if MTV says that tatu sucks and that nobody likes them, would you stop liking them too? probably...

why dont you pick an artist that MTV doesnt mention... i mean there are so many good ones. if you really have no imagination or no idea what to listen too, here are some ideas:

2. I gotta tell you, if a certain group isn't played on the radio, I probably won't hear it (unless it comes up by chance on Launchcast, which happens sometimes). An obvious exception to this is t.A.T.u. - I've never heard their music anywhere outside of my own house. Just online and on the CD. :(
