I found a site online that lets you spoof your caller ID. So I had fun with a few friends by calling them from 911. (I know the real police wouldnt call from 911, but hey it works!)

I didnt let the joke run that long because I didnt want to scare the total crap out of them. The first one we call and tell a friend that he is being charged with rape and in the second one I tell her that we found her prints at a murder, but she figures out its me, but its still funny.

They might not be that funny if you dont know the person but I thought they were freaking halarious.

It cost 5 cents a minute but if you sign up it gives you 20 cents free so you can make 4 minutes of calls. Its pretty cool works great, I've been having so much fun with it I went ahead and added $20 using paypal.

You just type in your number, the person you want to call number, and the Caller ID number you want to come up. It then calls you and says connecting, then it connects you to who ever you are calling.

The calls were good though I'm sure they are better if you actually know the person.



Nice to have someone posting original pranks using a new technique.

Cool Covert Call (http://www.covertcall.com/26897) just updated their website, now it will record your call automaticly and make it available for download in your control panel. Now I'm not limited to the 1 minute 40 seconds my cell phone would record. If anyone else signs up and does it be sure to post your recordings!

Its actually quiet easy to spoof emails. You can download a free mail server or windows XP pro comes with one. Just take a minute to set it up then bounce mail off your very own mail server as what ever never you want.

Can you perhaps call people that deserve it - e.g. nasty/annoying companies etc.

He is a big partier that gets so drunk every night I knew that he wouldnt remember what the hell he did the night before.

oh and how do you get the call recording to be free?

You have to call using the inbound access number and it will prompt you if you want to record the call or not.

Just go to a command prompt (in DOS) and type "ipconfig" without the quotes, and your IP address will be on the second line.

doesnt show your internet IP. What is my IP (http://whatismyip.printmyip.com) is good for when you use proxies etc... also, scroll down and there's an image you can place in any webpage that will display the IP of that location (works in files saved locally to hard drive as well).

Not sure why my affiliate links aren't working in other links :(
