Greetings to you all.God,Satan,AS,GoF,TOOL_.........

I have finally decided to look at the ebaumsworld.com updated new home page.And to my dismay,discovered a new forum.I havent been to the actual site in a week or so.Therefor wasnt aware of the change.But non the less here i am.Hi


Ebaum.......Why cant i get an image to work here? Im using the code and it comes up as a link. Thought maybe there was something wrong.Oh I see you all have had enoough of my pics. Right?lol

Yup one of the new changes in this forum is that images come up as hyperlinks, links, URL's whatever. Oh and the new avatar size but we got that figured out.

another forum I'm active at has the same setup as this one, just scroll down to where it says 'Attach file" and click browse, a directory will pop up and you can choose pictures to attach.

--didnt seem to work for me... but the people on the other forum dont seem to have any trouble posting pictures. Im no computer wiz and Im guessing that you know more about this stuf than I do, so If you fiddle around a little you'll probably figure it out.

Automatically parse URLs: automatically adds and around internet addresses.
If you uncheck the check in this box, then images should work, but I think ebaum has to set it on the main settings. Either something like that, or we're missing something. Same with when you attach something

I was browsing the forum, when i came across this thread. I thought i would bring it back to show that you once were newbs aswell, and that we should go a bit easier on some of the newbs that come through here.

we are easy on "newbs" (I don't think I go around calling people that...but, whatever)...as long as they are cool and don't act stupid and say stupid shit.

yes, we all were "newbs" once and yes, we all have gone through a "hazing" period of some sort...just like in real life, there are gonna be cliques of people that naturally band together...and just like in real life, there are going to be groups of people that will be fodder to the cliques...

there are new folks that come here and make one hell of an impact, that makes everyone on the board take notice...but, you know what...that's few and far between

so, what happens? everyone comes on, takes the time to develop their personality on the board and if it meshes...great...if not; then, I don't lose any sleep over it either...but, if you are trying to ask everyone here to kiss someone's ass the moment the make their first post "i are new here...roxors...fuxors...l33t me backwards"...I think you've got us mistaken for the teenage hang out

what am I trying to say? I don't know...and frankly, I don't care...it's been awhile since I threw out a mini-rant...so there you go.
