I desperately want to start logging my prank phone calls but I don't really know how people do it.
This is how I would do it right now with the resources that I have.
1. position the speaker phone RIGHT beside the audio speakers from my computer.
2. Place a microphone perfectly in between these two devices.
3. Use a program called cool edit pro to record what my microphone hears.
Personally I doubt this is the best way (maybe it is). How do you log your quotes? Whats the BEST way that ensures the sound quality is incredibley clear and LOUD? Thats really, what I'm going for.
For instance, the first arnold prank phone calls which pioneered the soundboard "craze". Those sounded GREAT! How did they do it?
Thats what I want my prank phone calls to sound like!
