whats your defination(sp?) of band?

I think a band is a group that play there own instruments as well as sing. Not a bunch of manafactured (sp?) faggots.

What do you think?

Hey, I'm not blind. Someone came up with a definition: It's "constructed", not "manufactured" - don't ask me to tell the difference however. It would be a long, and prolly unwanted explanation.

A band is a group of people that make music - as we all know, *cough*some members*cough* get more credit/attention/love than others, but if it wasn't for the people in the background, the music wouldn't be the same. I try to give credit where credit's due.

well, a band should be a group of ppl who play there own instruments, write there own songs.

the real question should be, what is your definition of a musician. i had a debate with my friend today about that, i brought up bruce springsteen as an example. i said that he is not a musician, he is an entertainer. i think a musician is a person who has musical knowledge as well as talent. the knowledge part is definatley something bruce lacks. and i hate that queer.

Yes that's true but they also need to play their own instruments and do their own singing. Unlike that fag rap stuff and that horrible pop. I think rock is the best answer for a real band because i'm in one called Stapled.

i think a band shouldn't have to rely on a recording studio for their sound, they should play the live spot just as it sounds on the record, well they can play with it but you get my drift.

i don't like all a these electronic bands that pass anyone off as a front man and get away with it.
