Do any of you guys like highschool sports...or when your out of highschool you are done with it?

Personally, i enjoy it... I am from delaware, and we are just starting to get some recognition we need.... We have a Big kid here who is going to play for Coach K (Duke) next year for basketball...A Senior at my school is going to duke to be a quarterback in football and his sister is the number one basketball player in the country for her freshman class...We also have the number six point gaurd in the nation for His class...Im pretty proud of this for the kids that are coming up...Our soccer team was ranked 25 in the nation and a girls basketball team is ranked 14th... i bet most of you dont even care about this, but i just cant belive this is happening for how small the state is...

but anways...

when you where in/are highschool, is your school big on athletics who/are your star players and where are they now?

Growing up in Kentucky, High School Sports are very important. A high school basketball game is usually the only thing that can take a community of 50 - 500 people and bring it together.

High School Sports are fun. I graduated high school six years ago, and I still follow my school like they were UK and the Detroit Pistons.

I play football for my highschool football team. This year was our first year, we had no seniors. Needless to say we aren't very good.

Except our golf team won DII State Title. An impressive feat for a first year school with no seniors.

I'm on cross country and track and I would play football if my shitty school only had a fucking team. I swear, all that cash they raise from candy and magazine fundraisers can pay for some decent jerseys and equipment.

There's this 6'6'' kid on varsity basketball but he probably won't go into the pros.

We are a very small school, single A (less than 400 people) so naturally we aren't very good in sports. I play baseball. I am a junior, and my freshman year we had a very high nationally ranked pitcher. He was drafted to the Anaheim Angels. We're expected to win state championship either this year or next year. But after the junior class is gone, our school is gonna suck.

my highschool has one of the best small school basketball programs in the state. We won state 3 times in 7 appearances which was a state record until last year. And one guy from my school was a McDonalds All-American and was Big Ten freshman of the year. Charles Barkley said he would be one of the best forwards in the league once he gets to the NBA. Unfortunately he got into some trouble in college and never made it.

I live in Minnesota, where High School hockey is life(dont flame, much better then the pros). I graduated last year from Moorhead, who is the best team in the country, or ranked top 5...havent looked at any national rankings yet but we're #1 in our state. The other minnesotan should vouch for this
