GOD! Freddie is such an idiot, I am a big eagles fan to and he is such a disgrace to the eagles. He is so cocky and he cant live up to it. I feel sorry for him, i seriously do. I hope he does get traded.

Freddie has always talked shit since his days at UCLA but back then he could back it up

I love the guy he is a great interview but he should keep his mouth shut until he can back up his shit.

actually in his last college game in the rose bowl against the Wisconsin Badgers who were led by heisman trophey winner Ron Dayne....he had like 3 catches and 1 TD. OK so he scored...but it wasnt that impressive considering all the shit he talked about the badgers and jamar fletcher before that game.

Oh yea and the Badgers whooped him and UCLA.

Freddie Mitchell is "bulletin board" material...but I really don't think other teams take him seriously.

He does say some things that are true...I really do believe that if Donovan McNabb plays a half-way decent game the Eagles would've won by a touchdown or two...I mean T.O. had over a hundred yards on a semi-broken leg.

I must say also being a DIE HARD EAGLES FAN, that i think we should trade him, he will contribute enuff on our team as he may on other team, T.O. is just going to keep him as a 3 slot receiver. Kool thread stinky.

I don't think he should be traded just yet. Yeah so he's cocky and pisses off other teams. So what? So far, he's made plays and has the talent to make more. Some of what he says is true, even though saying it makes him seem very arrogant (kinda like Kanye West). I say keep him for at least another year and see how he progresses. He wants to stay, so hey let him stay.

Webmaster's response - I'm going to go out on a limb and agree with Freddie on this one. Why is it that the media spends all their time talking about T.O.? Terrell only caught 77 regular season passes for 1,200 yards, scored 14 regular season touchdowns, and limped around during the Super Bowl with a 6 1/2 week old surgery to only pull down 9 balls? Freddie on the other hand, had his "People's Belt" all shined up and ready for the cameras after the big game. It isn't First Down Freddie's fault he didn't get to wear it for the fans.

I think that about sums it up

So what if i was defending him, he's an eagle. Plus i never said he was a great receiver. Might as well get rid of him, we will no longer need his services, the way that L.J. Smith was playing through out this season and the post, he might be the #2 Receiver next season, Pinkston will go down to the #3 most likely. Like i said b4 in other posts, if First Down Freddie wants playing time, Then he need's to get traded, as long as T.O. is here in Philly Flaping his wings, Mitchell will never shine. He will do more good on another team rather than ours. Sure he makes plays from time to time, but it's not enough for him to go around talking crap to other defenders around the league. But yes i will defend him against other eagles haters. Hmmmm ok.

then we cant take anything you say to be serious because it will all be based on your biased views.

If thats how you feel about it. I am sure that if someone was to down talk Favre or someone on that nature than ofcourse you would defend him, right? Ok. I know mitchell is not a OMG you need to watch him receiver. But he has his moments, but it is not enough, and it's not really his fault. All i said was he needs to be traded if he wants to make a bigger impact on a team, i never said he sucked or anything like that. I am not a biased person, but if you start talking about how poor of a receiver he his, then yeah i will defend him, but never say he's better than someone else when he's really not. Honestly, were talking about Mitchell here, he gets more attention around here in the sports page than other top Receivers. But if he wants more playing time here in philly, he needs to step up his game and tell Reid, hey, i am able and willing to go and be a deep threat like a T.O. or a Randy Moss, and prove that in practice and games, untill he does that he will not be a top core receiver.

Are you mentally challenged? Did you read my post, or is it too complicated? I defended him because what people forgot was that though he talked some shit, he has come up huge for the Eagles the past few years. One of the most spectacular plays in Eagles history now during the playoffs, has his name on it. Fourth Down Freddie? Ask the Packers if he can catch.

I thought the site was funny. The End.

lol, hey stinky i think that comment was towards me earlier, cuz i said we should trade him and he told me wasnt i one of the ppl defending him and now i want to trade, it's not that i dont want him on our team, what i meant was that if he wants to shine, than the eagles is not the place for him, cuz T.O. is much better, plus the way L.J. Smith was playing during the season and the post season, i doubt he'll have a chance, i think Lewis is gonna be the #2 reciever and Pinkston the #3 reciever. He would do better on a team that has no reciever, that's the only way i think he will be a great reciever is with another team.

Yeah, Freddie should be traded. 'Cause all of the Eagles reciever in the Super Bowl stepped up, except, you guessed it, Freddie Mitchell.

Because it's history is so rich and full of greatness  mitchell sucks thats all there is to it. yeah he sure has come up huge, to do what...lose in the NFC championship? Way to go fred. Hey does he only have 1 recieving td in his playoff career which was a 3 yard pass to mcnabb against minnesota, his fluke fumble recovery for a td from LJ smith and then he fumbled it on the goal line lmao. Yea freddie, your hands are so great. And youre the one person i fear goin against the eagles if you played em in the playoffs
