Any NASCAR fans out there? Come and share what you think about the upcoming 500, drivers you'd like to see it go all the way this year, or just to rant about what a fucking asshat Kevin Harvick is.
If Junior wins another fucking Daytona race I am going to scream. Let's have Martin or Wallace win it for once. And while I'm on the subject, Matrin has said that this is his last season in NNC. And he has had quite a decent career. If only it weren't for Stewart in 2002. 4 2nd place finishes in the standings and 30 or so wins isn't bad. I'd love to see him or Wallace in the top 10 when year's end comes along.
Now, Harvick. Fucking ridiculous. Bump drafting in the corner = now you're on everyone's shit list for the next 2 weeks. I do hope he gets benched at Rockingham or wherever they go next. He took out at least 4 decent cars, including himself, with that stupid move. Damn him.

I'm not much of a NASCAR fan, but I always liked the intimidator, and when he died I decided to like Jr.
So I'll probably watch that last 15 laps... should be a good race.

I love NASCAR but now the cheeky bastards at Sky TV have put NASCAR in the "American Sports" bracket and made a new channel which you have to subscribe to and no offence but I hate American sports except the motor sport and when I am fucked on drugs at stupid O' clock in the morning and cant sleep I watch baseball so there is no point in my subscribing to summat I wont watch.
Bcoz of Sky constantly thinking of new ways to dry-bum its customers in the UK I havent watched NASCAR for 2 years so I dont even know what the line up for Daytona looks like and I havent seen what form people have been in so cant comment on who I think will win.
I kinda want Mark Martin to win it bcoz I always used to pick him or Dale Earndhart when I was playing NASCAR on my Playstation and Martin's car gives me a hard-on hehehe.

Mark Martin wont win with his backup car thanks to Harvick.
I've always been a Mark Martin fan.
Maybe its because my last name is martin... hmm

Harvick has allways been a wreckleess idiot on the track, that won't change........until someone gives him a dose of his own medicine.
now then,my 2 favorite drivers are Dale,Jr (of course,I live in Kannapolis,NC) and Jeff Burton.
look for Jr to win the race, and look for Burton, now that he got away from Jack Roush (and substandard equipment while the other guys got top stuff) to bring RCR back into the top teir of race teams (Harvick certainly is incapable, and Burton is twice the driver Harvick is)

Jimmy Johnson, Ken Harvick, Dale Jarret, or Joe Nemecheck.
Because they're all on my fantasy team.

Bobby Labonte, you heard it here first.
Thats the only one I like.
Also that shit is soooo fucking gay. Even the crashes were gay. My dad was watching that stupid shit next to my computer and rooting for the guy that won saying he was the only one who wasnt a hill billy. And I laughed and made fun of him and the "sport" in general.

Jeff Gordon may not be a hillbilly, but he is still known as the fag of nascar

Don't ask me, ask the world of nascar, since thats what everyone knows him by

I think nascar is funny. Tony Stewart, or the guy in the Home Depot car who I think is Tony Stewart is like the tough guy of the sport. When he is out of the car and being interviewed or whatever he has just about the highest pitched voice that I have ever heard from a grown man.
I cannot stand nascar though. It can be kind of entertaining watching a big crash or the last 10 laps of a good race, but in my mind it is just about the most boring thing to sit there and watch 40 some cars drive 500 miles.

Dude, he was just sitting a car for 5 hours of some of the hottest temperatures man can handle. I don't think you'd be talking pretty deep after that...

They train like regular athletes, they prepare like regular athletes, it takes a lot of physical ability to handle a 800 HP car for 5+ hours. It's a sport

Not to mention it takes a lot of mental ability. Knowing when to pit, knowing what to do in the pit. Plus, you need quick reflexes when a wreck happens in front of you.
NASCAR is more of a sport than Golf, let's put it that way.

It's still not a sport.
Because why?
It's my understanding that you have to be in peak physical condition no matter what sport your playing in. You try sitting in a car going 190 plus MPH for 3 plus hours in 90 to 100 degree temperatures pulling extreme g-forces. You don't think you need to be phisically in good shape to accomplish that?
Hell yeah it's a sport!

I suppose you think golf and handball are sports?
By the way - Jeff Gordon: 2005 champion. And Kenseth better do something this year besides sit on his arse like last year.

Anything that requires talent is a sport.
Cheerleading doesnt count, neither do any of those pansy as sports like backgammon and tiddlywinks.
Tetherball is a sport tho, and I will pwn you.
