Lynyrd Skynyrd-One More From the Road
One goodie I have on my turntable right now is Jimmy Buffet- You Had to Have Been There . Nice little intros before songs, all the favorites, and some badass lyric changes. IE, "Why don't we get stoned and screw...."

Eric Clapton - 24 Nights
Phish - A Live One
These two ROCK. 24 nights has all of claptons songs, but theyre 10 times better on this album than on the studio albums. anyone who likes clapton needs this record.

It just came out, but I think Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's 1975 Live at Hammersmith Odeon, London should definitely be in the running for the greatest live album ever. The Boss claims this was an off night...I would love to hear what a good night sounds like, because this concert is unbelievable.

nirvana unplugged is one my best CDs. that is my favorite live CD.
I'll second that. Also the Alice in Chains Unplugged.... Man Unplugged was a great series, too bad 2.0 sucked for the most part.
Also "No Quarter" by Page & Plant... Although not all of the tracks are live, most of them are, and despite being recorded in the 90's the album has the best versions (and that's including studio versions) of "The Battle of Evermore" and "Kashmir" that I have ever heard.

Yeah...I mean, who wants to hear what a band sounds like without all the studio tricks. Are you insane? There's no truer test of a bands talent. If you can't cut it live you might as well be Madonna or the Backstreet Boys.
