So what's your favorite songs that were the band's only hit? Here's mine:

OMC - How Bizarre
Chumbawumba - Tubthumping (I Get Knocked Down..)
The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony
Semisonic - Closing Time
Dirty Vegas - Days Go By (could change)
Default - Wasting My Time (could change)
Hoobastank - Running Away (could change)

and can anyone identify the artists of these two? I have no idea.

Mexican Radio by Wall of Voodoo. It came out when I was a kid and always brings back good memories. "Wish I was in Tia-juana, eating BarBQued iguana." How could you NOT love that song?

The Verve had other songs as well

Well lets put it this way: A band that has only one song that gets played on the radio often. Semisonic and The Verve would qualify by that definition. I mean Matchbox Twenty has 10 singles that have had high rotation since 1996 - ten - those two only have the ones I mentioned.

Obviously this was only a hit with the pre-pubescant little girl crowd but Hanson and mmmbop, besides for being faggots who look like teenage girls *chuckles to self and thinks of Quagmire in Family Guy scene* that was the only song that ever got them publicity

That was the BIGGEST hit but not their only one...(ok I know this b/c I used to be a fan...come on I was like 14!) anyway, they also had a pretty good hit with "Where's the love" and "If Only"...oh and "This Time Around".

Eve 6's new album is really good, check it out.

Lit's had label problems but are heading out on tour w/ American HI-Fi. www.litlounge.com

Saw them Both at a great free show in April. I'm really looking forward to see Amer. Hi-Fi opening in Nov.... their album aslo Rocks.

LOL Yeah thats me...The pics was taken in Panama City when we were on Spring Break....I rode around all night with Devil horns on, it was great!!

Hey sid I wouldnt be calling any bands one hit wonders. Did Tatu even have one hit? I think they just got all their publicity because they go on stage wearing see through outfits and act like lesbos. Their music sucks.

And Marcy Playground is right. I also forgot one, a good song: Barely Breathing by Duncan Sheik.
