As a Viking fan, now you know how happy we Browns fans were when they let Garcia go.

Maybe the vikes will put together a defence this year. There was too much emphasis upon Randy and not on the D.

I'm glad that Moss has been signed by somebody. Being a redskins fan I was kind of afraid that the skins would go after him and sign him to a huge contract that would completely kill their salary cap. I'd much rather have a guy like Plaxico Burress.

Plax=randy moss attitude with much less talent.

I like the redskins defense, especially Sean Taylor. hopefully teh vikings will mold themselves into a defense like that with a good offseason of signings

What did I say? I knew it. I know it's not official, but it definitely looks real. Apparently, they'll get Napolean Harris, a first rounder, and a seventh rounder. Now I can very easily say Packers>Vikings next year if Favre stays in the NFL.

Farve needs to retire, he's old and rusty. He has rings what is he wating for? I would retire if I was in his position, being that old, I don't think I could take another year of getting the shit kicked out of me. Face it man, the Pack needs a new QB.

So what happens if the Vikes sign Donovan Darius? Every packer WR would be scared to step on the field

Again with this shit. He's old and rusty? He threw for 4,000 yds. last year. I think he can take it another year since he's been starting in 206 consecutive games. He's better than 80% of the quarterbacks out there right now.

Even is Favre does come back and they beat out the Vikes for the division, it's not like its going to matter. They haven't gotten anywhere in the playoffs in the past couple years so how will next year be any different?

I firmly believe that neither the Packers or the Vikings will win more than 10 games next season.

Look for the Lions to improve, but not make the playoffs though.

Right. After one illegal hit. I think they will actually have an extra charge to try and beat him and not back down. I'll admit Darius is pretty good, but I think the Packers and the Vikings need more than just a safety to make their D better.

Exactly, lots of sweat and pain for nothing. So what if you can throw for 4000 yards if you can't win a playoff game.

So does that leave the Bears with winning the division? Seriously, the Packers can't go anywhere but up. Their defense was horrible, complete and utter shit last year and they still won 10 games. Their offense is still pretty much intact and hopefully their D will step it up at least somewhat.

Even is Favre does come back and they beat out the Vikes for the division, it's not like its going to matter. They haven't gotten anywhere in the playoffs in the past couple years so how will next year be any different?

Well, personally, I think a lot of teams would pray to make the playoffs every year. I'll agree that the Packers can't make that complete team with the defense and without the turnovers on offense, but they still can compete, and hopefully, finally, they might go through the playoffs. They should've beat the Eagles two years ago and made it to the NFC Championship, but a fluke play on defense stopped it.

Favre has been shitty for the last few years in the playoffs, but you can also blame the defense for many of the losses.

It was also a fluke play on defense for them against the Seahawks that got them there.

Don't be stupid.

DeVaSTaTioN's earlier than early predictions for the NFC North:

Green Bay 10-6, Minnesota 9-7, Detroit 9-7, Chicago 3-13.

Yea, interceptions happen all of the freakin time. 4th and 26 happen in very, very small increments.

So with out a great defence and Farve so-so you will never get anywhere, the man needs to retire

Grossman's back, they have a good D, and if they draft Williams or Edwards, they will have a big play WR. Would you have thought the Chargers would win their division this year?

Damn Dawg, giving Chicago six wins?

That is pretty generous.

GB 11-5
MV 9-7
DL 7-9
CB 6-10

If Grossman stays healthy and their D playing like they did last year, they have a chance for 6 wins :D.

Green Bay 10-6 Minny 10-6 Detroit 8-8 Chicago 4-12

GB will hold the tiebreaker.

I dont think the Vikings got enough for Moss. When you trade a proven superstar (especially one of Moss' caliber), you need to get more than just potential. Napolean Harris is a solid player and will step in and start right away, but he is coming off a disappointing year (somewhat due to injuries). The 7th pick is valuable, but you never know if it will pan out.

I have a feeling the Vikes want to get Mike Williams or possibly Braylon Edwards with the 7th pick. Being a Vikes fan I hope they just sign a free agent WR instead and use both 1st rounders on defense. Burleson quietly had a great year and is a legit #2 WR now. If these last 5 years have shown us anything, its that dominant defense will take you much further than a dominant offense.

I could seriously say the packers could care less about what happens to the vikings or moss. I am glad that the raiders got him, hopefully they can keep Porter, and franchise Woodson, it's about time the raiders started getting rid of their old players and get some young ones. Moss will fit right in with the Raiders.
