Ok the kings are my favorite team and even though i liked doug christie i still thought the trade for mobely was a good one. But they just traded Chris Webber for 3 scrubs on the 76ers. All 3 of the players they get in return are failures, they have nothing to offer other than extra bodies to bring off the bench. Forget their title chances this year, they just flushed their season down the fucking toilet. :banghead: :banghead:

yeah your right he only lead them in points and rebounds and was second in assist. They aren't going to miss this guy at all :wtf:

i think that was a stupid move by the Kings to trade chris webber, he still has game, i thought he was doing pretty good, i had no idea they was even thinking about trading him, i bet it will come back to bite them in the ass later. It would be so funny for the 76ers to win the finals, and webber be the missing piece.

Yeah way over rated at 21 ppg 9.7 rebounds 5.5 asst 36 min per game. the sixers are fucked now.

Well, they'll miss his stats, but look at it this way, you traded 6 fouls and 48 minutes and in return got 18 fouls and 144 minutes.

Who will win the atlantic division now that the 76ers got iverson, celtics and 76ers are tied right now, nets and raptors are 4 games back, and the knicks who are 5.5 back. Any one of these teams can win it, im gonna stick with my celtics still. Who does everyone else think will win?

STiSchucky
02-24-2005, 12:25 PM
you mean sixers got webber.

anyways this is the worst confrence outside of the AL Central, NL West and the Southeast confrence in terms of depth of good teams.

does this division have a team over .500 yet?

i got the sixers now, i never had a prediction before though cause whoever wins will get squashed by the heat

lol ya i mean they got webber, weird when i told my dad i said 76ers got iverson too, well the celtics did get over .500 by 1 game a couple times but thats it, right now celtics and 76ers are in first place and both are a game under .500 what a great division.

Celtics traded Welsch to the cavs for a 2007 first round pick, good trade ainge, i will be looking forward to that lol.

lol.

anyways time to see what the hopeless wolves will pull outta their ass today. Odds are it'll be nothing when we really do need to trade because well we're the wolves. and we dont want to trade.

nah it was a 6 player deal kings traded webber, matt barnes, and some other guy, for skinner, williamson, and thomas. I just can't make any sense of this trade, Webber is much better than anyone else in this trade, they should have at least been able to keep Matt Barnes.

I actually thought the Kings had a great shot at winning it all before this trade. But now I don't think so anymore.

I beg to differ. The SEC has Kentucky and Alabama who will be a No. 2 and a No. 3 seed, respectively.

Right now, MSU and Florida should get in, and South Carolina and LSU are making their cases.

If I was going to pick a NCAA Basketball Conference to pick on, it'd be either the PAC-10 or the Big Ten.

I'm more of a football guy myself but I know a pretty good deal when I see it. C. Webb could become the b-ball equivalent of TO.

Hey it's Ressurection X, but he switched his screen name.

But in all seriousness, the kings made a bad decision, like i said b4, it will come back to bite them in the ass.

I don't know, we needed some defence. Thats what we got, and all of these guys salaries put together probably don't equal 2/3 of what cweb was getting paid. Last time I checked his salary was like 18-23mil

umm..bama will get in as a 6 seed, UK maybe a 2 and thats it. the rest are bubble teams for a major confrence like the SEC.

Big 10 got Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan state, Iowa, Minnesota still

This trade just turned the 76ers into a major contender in the east....

AI and C-Webb will be a potent combination.

the kings traded webber for money and cuz they're building the team around peja...With webber on the team, peja would never be happy, so now that hes off, they think they can build the kings around him. One things for sure, the mavs vs kings games wont feel like a rivalry anymore

You would think they would build it around Mike Bibby also, not just peja.

Iowa will not make the Tournament. Minnesota might, and a good showing in the Big 10 Tourney will help their case.

After Bama's loss to UK, Bama will be a five, barring what happens in the tournament. Florida and MSU are locks right now. Check ESPN.

Sacramento, it's worth recalling, played extremely well last season when Webber was out of the lineup while rehabbing the knee. With Peja Stojakovic as the team's focal point, the Kings became a more balanced, free-flowing team.

Yes, your right, bibby helps, but you need to build a team around one star player and it seems like stoya is the choice...

...and why the fuck are people talking about college, stay focused!

the only reason webber has the numbers he does is because his big head thinks he has to control the game. Have u guys ever noticed watching webber on offence, it has to run through him and thats the only way he gets his numbers. Plus hes going to be a dud. At first i didnt like the trade but these new guys are fittin in nicely. Once Peja and Bobby come back we can get back on track :bang:

Dumont

so at first u didnt like the trade, but your still on here bashing webber? I agree he's past his prime and has lost more than a step, more like a whole flight of stairs, but what he did do was give the kings some sort of inside presence, we'll miss that in the playoffs
