Call waiting?! I think you mean Caller ID right?! And no --- If you have caller ID and you hit *67 --- It will either show up as UNAVAILABLE or PRIVATE NUMBER --- So *67 is the way to go --- Only if you wanna pay 75 cents extra to prank someone --- and 141?! I have never heard of that --- *Shrugs* Dont know --- I always use *67!

*67 is like 3 bucks a month and you can use it all you want.

if you dial *67, and call someone with caller ID, it qwont work...but if they dont have caller ID and they *69 you, they cant get the number....even if you *67, and the people callt he police, the police can track down the last number that called them and they can always see your #

This is true --- But the cops usually dont take the time to track the phone call for you --- or atleast the ones out here dont --- So --- *67 is the way to go --- its all good!

141 is what you dial if you dont want ppl to get your number in the U.K when you make a prank.

The Police and the Phone Company can track you down, but seriously.. why the hell would they waste all that time to track someone down and then slap them on the rist. Ive had alot of pissed off people say they were gonna call the Cops on me, and i still have yet to see them. In the end, its more trouble than its worth.

i bought a caller id blocker off of ebay for about 20 bucks, not sure how it works but i don't care. it does the job

nope, just this little box you plug the phone cable into and has another for the phone.

i think the only way would be to call the cops on us, but i doubt anyone would goto that trouble over a damn prank call

i called this high times store with the rob de niro soundboard here with *69 and they called me back right after. i answered them with the soundboard and they just told me not to call back. so im not sure if it works

you need to press *67 for your phone number to be blocked.

I got to tell you my story. sorry if I hijack this in anyway here it goes:

First Time Prank Calling and all i knew was Arnold Soundboards. i'm at a friends house and i showed him. he ofcourse thought it was hilarious so we first called people we knew but it wasn't enough.

We had to call gas stations and restaurants. We did this for about two hours non-stop. 11:00 we called Waffle houses And using arnold i asked " May i speak to the drug dealer of the house?" and what not things got crazy she cursed at us i cursed at her using arnold.

we called 4 diff. Waffle houses till about 11:30 we get a call back and we hung up on them. things calmed down and the Cops Call us at 11:45 my friend picked up The cop asked iff anyone had a german accent in the house

it was pretty close we could have gotten in trouble but it was worth it

i'm gonna do some payphones now :D

Just wondering, but how do you play the soundboard through the phone? Do you just hook up the modem with the phone or something? I've tried but can't figure it out. Some of you have to know this.

take a pair of headphones and plug them into the speaker jack then put em against the phone, it works fine

I think you cant *67 1800 numbers cause they told me what my number was after and said something about forwarding it to the police.

I dont know about *67 or any of that but MCI Prepaid cards from costco works great. Your call is routed through thier server and is washed when it hits the destination. I sure, if the cops wanted they could track the Card Pin, but thats alot of work for some silly prank.

GO TO WAL MART AND BUY A CALLING CARD - UNTRACEABLE
IT WILL SHOW UP ON CALLER ID BUT IT WILL BE AN OUT OF STATE NUMBER THAT CANNOT BE TRACED BACK TO YOU.

In Australia we dial 1831, I think, it's free and it blocks your number from caller ID and call back.

*67 will not work on Toll-Free #'s something to do with the actuall company you are calling paying for the call.

no it wont if u dial *67 nothing will show up. it would say unknown name unknown number
