The major trades so far include

Baron Davis to Golden State (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1998925)

Walker reuintes with Pierce (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=1998923)

Those were some pretty shocking trades, but of course I'm most happy with Jiri Welsch going to Cleveland for a first round pick in 2007. Gives us one more shooter. Although a first round pick might be a bit too much.

Yea baby, Walker is back, the man who almost brought the celtics to the finals a couple years ago, not saying they will do it this year, but im so happy! LETS GO CELTICS!!!

it does stink for payton though, first he didnt want to play in boston, he ended up playing and got comfortable in boston, they said they wouldnt trade him now they do, the hawks wont probably keep him, and he will end up somewhere else. LOL and wasnt trade deadline at three? This happens every year lol.

The deadline has already passed, so most likely it didn't happen. Unless, of course, the media didn't get to it. But it's been an hour and a half, so that's unlikely.

And I don't wanna see it happen just so my Cavs can play him in the Gund.

Payton prolly wont report to hawks camp and theyll just buy him out so payton will go back to boston or maybe houston.

im pissed, wolves made 0 trades. god damnit.

I see Golden State becoming a force in the next few years. All they need now is a dominate big man and they have the package. Dunleavy has finally come out of his shell but without that backcourt help, Jason Richardson has been stuck by himself. With Davis coming in, Richardson should be pretty well covered.

Mavs acquired van horn for booth and henderson. I'm not liking that, he might take the four spot, putting dirk at five and hes definitely gonna take away shots from dirk...not good at all. Lets hope he sticks to his regular routine of being injured

I heard payton could be back on the celtics

Surprised the Magic didn't make any final day deals.

We could've done with some PG depth, Francis looks better at SG, less turnovers. Which leaves us with Jameer Nelson.

We're also desperate for ANYTHING on defense!

KVH will never take Dirks PF spot, he will only step in when Dirk needs a breather. And also, the Mavs have a good chance of getting Henderson back as the Bucks will likely release him and the Mavs will prolly pick him back up.

Why you say that? I'm a Rox fan and haven't heard anything like that and wouldn't be to happy if he was here........

As a guy from Philly I can say I am very happy about the Sixers moves. The Webber trade was a no-brainer. I still don't understand why the Kings would make that trade. Not only did it give Philly a great player, but unloaded some very unhealthy contracts. They also made a nice move to pick up Rodney Rodgers for nothing. I was for nothing because Mashburn is going to retire and 80% of his salary is covered by insurance. So they still get to unload some cap room. Great day for the Sixers. :bang:

I am quite shocked Donyell Marshall stayed up. I guess the Raps were trying to overcharge for him and nobody took the bait. It made no sense for them to not trade him to one of the 12 teams who wanted him. They could have got something and now he leaves after the season. :shuffle:
