I like Kayne, I say this as I listen to him but .....
I'm representing for them gangstas all across the world
Still hitting them corners in them low low's girl
Still taking my time to perfect the beat
And I still got love for the streets, it's the D - R - E

my vote goes to the Dr. due to what he has produced and the work of people who he has worked with rap and hip hop has become a lot more popular.
cant wait for his final album, he says hes spending enough time on it to out-do 2001, if he manages i think it will be the best selling hip hop album in history

Prefuse 73..........Listen to the album One Word Extinguisher, puts all mainstream hip hop producers to shame.........It seriously does.

Timbaland is probably the best one up there, but what about the Neptunes? They totally changed the game.
Plus, Timbaland and the Neptunes don't use any samples.

Not a big fan of Kanye, but the Grey Album was incredible.
not true a couple of timbalands tracks were samples. off the top of my head i know tim was sued for the big pimpin' jay-z track.<- it had an embellishment from an egyptian dance song by "hossam ramzy" titled khusara. i have both tracks and he is definity guilty. also i have a sample cd he got the flute riff for tweet's oops.
bubba spark's- Ugly is from the same sample cd "Deepest India"
brandy's Afrodisiac, The song "I Tried" also produced by tim features a sample of Iron Maiden's "The Clansmen."
Missy Elliott - Hit em with da Hee video version last part sampled from Björk's - Joga
Timbo & Magoo - Indian Carpet is from kazem's "El Zaman"
plus countles others
im a music producer by the way.

Since you are a music producer, who is your favorite hip hop producer? Even if you don't like hip hop, you have to appreciate instrumental, right?
