I personally like McCartney better. He has more of an energetic voice that I like. But none the less John Lennon is still a great singer.

Some has said this too me couple days ago, and I think I agree with it.

Paul writes catchy, mainstream music. while Lennon writes original music. Notice the difference. They are both good musicians, both wanted piece on earth, both loved music, both are legends. But I think Lennon has a great voice.

I had a hard time coming to this decision. If you really want a good comparison of the two's voices than you should listen to "A Day in the Life." My favorite verse of that song is Paul's becausse it just has more energy, which I like.

Best Musician = John
Coolest = Ringo

Paul's the better singer, John's the better writer. Perfect combo if you ask me. George was also a great singer/songwriter that is always overlooked when people talk about the Beatles.

I also Like Both of them Equally, there voices each have thier own style about them. Thier voices suit different songs. However my honest opinion is that McCartney has a better voice, only by a bit tho! Lennon Is the better song Writer. One of my favurite beatles songs is "In my life" I don't know who wrote that tho, I imagine Lennon did tho.
