O.K., here's my story. Just last week, we were assigned an essay in band class, that has to be 1500 words. We can do it on any band we want, or any instrument we want. The catch is, we can't write about said instrument/band specifically, we have to talk about the music that is composed for it, how it is composed, that kind of stuff. I chose to do my essay on the band "Tool". They've always been a favorite of mine, and I was elated finally getting a chance to write about them. The problem is, I'm stuck at 1000 words. If any of you members out there that play instruments (guitar, bass, drums, etc) have any insight into what Tool does, help would be much appreciated. Once I get the essay all typed up, I may submit it so some people can read it (though I expect to get many "Too long, not going to read that" posts. Meh). Thanks in advance

did you mention how the band composed the album Lateralus with a shitload of easter eggs?

or is that too specific?

if it isn't here is the good shit.

Well, I know one of the easter eggs was the art bell radio recording titled "Faaip de Oaid". But other than that, not much. Thanks for the link.
