I love how all the Chicagoans I know think that their city is the sports city.
Ha!
The only reason the Bulls won six championships in the '90's was because you had Jordan, Pippen and Jackson.
Once all three of them left, the Bulls don't even contend.
The Bears are a joke. They've had one good season, but for the other 100 years they haven't been worth shit.
And the Cubs, I'm a Cubs fan, but a drought since 1908 has got to tell you all something.
The White Sox suck, the Blackhawks suck, the best team in Chicago these days is the DePaul Blue Demons, and they suck.
That ought to get this thread started.

But anyways, its obvious that the bulls will make it to the eastern conference finals...without a doubt

^^^^^^^^ I think the Heat have that on lockdown........ Da Bulls have no chance in hell this year..........
The Chicago Fire (soccer) and the Chicago Wolves (hockey) have won championships in the last few years, so all our teams aren't complete shit.

Dude, Chicago is the sports city, cause of tradition and history. I dont go to wrigly to see the Cubs kick ass. They usally lose, but thats cool, wrigley is the coolest park ever, it is what baseball represents.
The Bulls won six championships in a decade. thats has never been done before and prob never will. Its tradition.
And im a Pats fan cause I was born in Connecticut. But the 85 bears were one of the finest teams ever to be assembled.
That is what Chicago sports is about, tradition.

I'm pretty sure we can agree that Boston is the best sports city. And while the Celtics aren't great right now (they're getting better though), all of our other teams own. The Bruins (goodbye NHL) did really well, going 41-19-15 last year. The Pats have of course won the 3 Superbowls in the past 4 years, and the Sox are the next great team of baseball (not that they haven't been great, but they're on the edge of being a team like the Yankees were in the 90's). And, if you want to talk about the teams' histories, just look for some guys named Bourque, Bird, and Williams. I hear they did quite a bit when they were around ;)
